Offshore Fishing in Japan Around a Fish Farm - Yellowtail Amberjack

Some friends came to visit, so I took them offshore fishing around the fish farm I work at. I'll be using Jigs with a light setup, while they will be bait fishing with Krill, the most commonly used bait in Japan. Hope you enjoy the video!

Hi! Yes, it definitely is possible but it might be a little bit difficult as the sea water temperature is still quite low in April. You can try Sea Bass fishing at night near river mouths or light rock fishing at fishing harbors. The local tackle shops will be able to give you the best advice for the local area!

Hi, thanks for your comment. I’m in Mie Prefecture which is pretty far from Saitama. I’ve heard that there are some good fishing spots in Kanagawa and Chiba though!
