If it weren't for KZbin all this would be lost to us. Keith Skues is a phenomenon in broadcasting - his knowledge is unsurpassed. I was a Big L listener right from the start - Xmas 1964 - & shall never forget. "Reach Out" is so evocative of Big L & I just have to hear those opening bars & I am taken right back & my eyes still well-up. (I'm now 61). After August 1967, I vowed I would never vote Labour for what they did - & I never have or will. It affected me profoundly at that age.

This is a great short documentry on one the greatest pirate radio stations that ever existed. Note the Motown sounds on European ship!
