One of my favorite watches so far. I was surprised to find out that in the continental law judicial system there is no clear definition of a trust, and not much information in general. Therefor, I was wondering if asset protection strategies like a hybrid trust, would be just as effective for people with a EU citizenship, specifically from EU countries not part of the Hague trust convention, Thank you.

LLC goes into the asset protection trust.

So glad I found this video and your channel! Say one owns a holding LLC for other LLCs and another LLC to use as trustee for my Land trust. Can I put all of these in the foreign trust? Or can I not put a land and personal property trust in a foreign trust?

Yes you are in control of the LLC as its manager.

You would create an LLC that a management company manages, for example, an LP. You are the managing member of the LP, and your trust owns the LP.

so what is the difference with a common law trust? if i have i open a WY LP as a management/holding company and then i would have an offshore llc , where the latter would own my trust . i would open my primary account(s) as trust bank accts at Chase (eg). what is the ongoing cost associated with such a setup (over 50mill )

So, once someone put their property in an Asset Protection Trust (domestic or otherwise) then they LOSE CONTROL of that asset? What if I've built up a real estate portfolio of 10 properties and decide to sell some of them or refinance them? I am no longer allowed to make that decision??

The idea of making somebody in another country in charge of all the wealth you have in that trust is quite a tough sell. What’s to stop them from just buying crypto with the account and disappearing with it?

So if I have 600k in cash that I want to protect I shouldn't be able to use an offsoor asset protection trust? Why is it only for people who have 2.5 million or more? Someone who has accumulated half a million dollars in cash still wants to protect that cash and still might get sued or end up in a bankruptcy proceeding because of a business failure. Why shouldn't that be protective? I don't understand these artificial monetary limits.
