Offshore Winter Fishing - Targeting Big Pollack & Bass On Lures

Welcome to our Big Pollack & Bass fishing offshore trip as I team up with my good friends John on his Barraucda 8 fishing boat and Jake over ​at @MuscleFishingOfficial for a blast way way offshore to try and hunt down some big fish and in particular BIG Pollack.
Using intelligence gained from our last trip out on my boat we shot out the French side of the English Channel shipping lanes and into the deep cold water working some wrecks with our Sidewinder lures. luckily we hit some fish right off the bat over our first wreck.
Lures used were mostly Sidewinders in various sizes from 4” to 8” and once again one of the most successful colours was the Rhubard and custard style lures. I have linked some below online if you can’t find them locally.

Hey Chris 👋🏻 Yeah it’s literally been like this for so long hasn’t it, as you say months. I’m over it now but thankful we managed to turn in a good trip here and half scratch the itch as it were. Looking at the forecast though it might be a while before we try again 😭

What an amazing session. I'm still waiting to get out since late October last year - lots of dates cancelled because of weather or too cold for some anglers, so not worth the charter boat going out. Frustrating but thats the way it goes. Can't wait for a decent break in the weather, but until then your videos have kept me going. Keep them coming mate.😮

I have never understood people that say it’s too cold to go out fishing. You wear more clothing and go get the fish 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s a shame others have to miss out on some brilliant winter fishing due to being cold 🤪 I appreciate you watching my content mate thank you! 🙏🏻

@@user-bq6mp9jr4m these our custom built rods that John my friend in the video builds, the one in this video is a 12/20 class (not that it looks it) but has “Spiral wrap” eyes so they twist around the end of the rod rather than the traditional all in one line sort of thing. Got another being built now in 10-20lb class I can’t wait.
