Hi Faith. Another great reaction. You put so much personality into your reactions. Courtney's version of this song is the most beautiful rendition I've ever heard of it. There have been many artists, including some very well known, that have put out their take on this classic, and Courtney shows everyone how this song was meant to be sung. There is literally no other artist that can reach out and grab your heart and soul when they sing like Courtney. She sings with so much passion and empathy and she has the ability to pull you in so that you can feel every nuance of the feeling that she is trying to convey. Even though this was originally done by a legend like John Lennon, I never felt anything in his version even near to what Courtney can make me feel when I listen to her sing it. This treasure is now one of my favorite Christmas song ever and it will be played many, many times in my household this Christmas season and for many Christmases to come. Courtney's rendition is destined to become a true Christmas classic. Courtney actually released this song in 2020, in the middle of the Covid pandemic, and she said that she chose to release this song because 2020 had been a very tough year and we all needed some healing and she wanted to do her part to help that healing process. Courtney's version of this song is so uplifting and touching, that only someone with a heart of stone could fail to be touched to their very core by her rendition. The inclusion of the family pictures and Courtney's childhood photos add so much to this song. It offers a very personal and intimate glimpse into who Courtney is as a person. They re-enforce, better than any words, the sincerity with which Courtney approaches this song and leaves no doubt as to how heart felt her intention of making this song one of healing and hope was to her. I don't know how anyone can listen to this beautiful and empathy packed rendition and not want to do your own part to make this world a better place. This song and the way Courtney sings it portrays the true meaning of Christmas unlike any other.

Thank you for reminding us of Ms. Courtney's cover of this John Lennon and Yoko Ono classic she covered two years ago, as the pandemic was still raging with restrictions still in place. So heartfelt, both for all the happy times growing up, and for the fears and even despair of facing a third year of pandemic. This was also the third anniversary of her being signed by both Simon Cowell's SYCO Music and Sony's Arista label. LOTS of complicated emotions approaching that holiday season under all those circumstances. Liked and Sub'd. Also, as I'm sure you plan to, please react to Ms. Courtney's new original written for THIS Christmas season, under different circumstances, yet with some echoes still hanging from the past. "Christmas Rocks" is her 5th original single for this year! And it's the hardest rocking song she's shown us so far, letting out her inner Joan Jett. She's taken us on a journey, a sampler, of her amazing VOICE singing 5 very different KINDS of songs, with not a one of them allowed to fit into those boring boxes called 'genres' that the industry insists music must fit into. I don't think Ms. Courtney has a very high opinion of being stuffed in some little old dusty box with millions of other songwriters. Somehow, I think that shy young woman has far more steel, or maybe platinum, in her spine than most think. A nice surprise for them all, right?! 😎

Courtney just released Christmas Rocks which is an original song she wrote. It's an up beat rock and roll song, great lyrics, amazing vocals by Courtney of course, great drum beat and guitar riffs. Please react to it please I believe you'll love it because everyone else has.

A very cool music video. Yes, all those photos used in it were of Courtney through the years to that point. It seems like she has a very loving whanau (family). For many years, the Mariah Carey Christmas music video (All I Want For Christmas), was the definition for the season, but not now. Courtney's video surpassed that, for me, any way.
