Totally agree with Ger. Ole was exposed again last night, as much as I would love him to be the fairytale success it looks like he's not d one. Hope he proves me wrong but last night was important & he failed.

Maybe for radio conversation purposes, but to say "who cares about europa league" after the fact Utd lost, is pointless non argument. It's a final, a chance to start winning trophies for this team and we're very poor against team they should've beaten. And in the end, they finished only 5 points above a Liverpool team that had their worst season in years, which is scary really.

Playing bravely 🤣🤣🤣 this manager didn't make a sub change for 100 minutes to bring Fred on!! He was scared and didn't know what to do tactically. Don't compare Lyon with Villareal that is a poor comparison they actually have a good team. Villa real are not a great team it's that they have a coach with a winning mentality with a tactical plan.

Ger is 100% correct. Winning the Europa league would have been really important to Ole & Man United. Look at Arteta at Arsenal. If he didn't win the FA cup he properly would have been sacked by now. If you are a big club you have to win something. No trophies for finishing top 4.

Ole: lack of big game mentality? No one doubts that Klopp has it. But let’s look at his record. Lost CL final with Dortmund. Comes to Liverpool. Loses EL and LC finals in 2016. Loses CL final in 2018. So after losing 4 cup finals, should we have concluded that Klopp had a loser’s mentality? No, sometimes your team is just not good enough to win on the night.

Klopp was called out for losing those finals until he won the champions league league in 2019..and then he had to prove himself over again by winning the title in 2020..until ole does same he will get the same stick..that's the way the cookie crumbles..

Ole is not a good United manager compared to whom? Compared to Sir Alex yes. Compared to everyone else he is doing well. Don't forget, this is not the same club that used to dominate transfer market. After the last window, we had no right to challenge for titles. Second is incredible with 4th or 5th best squad. Problem is not Ole but Glazers. We need to at least match our rivals in the transfer market this summer.

Liverpool were a shell of themselves, Chelsea not consistent enough, Spurs imploded. They fell into 2nd place make no mistake. As was said elsewhere with 74 points they would have finished fifth or sixth other years.

Donny van beek ,amad ,telles , mata ,elanga ,he had players to change it some of them more suited to the low block .especially mata ,donny and amad .. he bottled it .. fergie went for it ,busby went for it . Low block play your best footballers donny ,mata ,amad ,green wood telles , matic .. what I mean by best footballers is the ones comfatable with possession, the ones with the ability to look after the football better and the ones who can play one ,two football . All about taking care of the ball better . Ole just doesn't get it and neither does hes coaches that's why there serial losers .

Ole has areas of improvement but asking for his head is playing into the hands of instigating fans and pundits. 1. He needs a Plan B when Plan A fails. The reluctance to change personnel and formation is not the sign of an adaptive manager, this may be because he lacks confidence in his personnel or because of over-dependence on his starting eleven either way he needs to be more perceptive of tiring players, or tempo shift in a game. 2. He needs to be braver, The substitutions made for the penalty shootout were ludicrous, he basically waited (reactive) till the end of the extra time to make changes instead of (proactive) making them after full time to win the game in extra time, a more risk-taking manager would have swapped Rashford for Amad or James and kept Greenwood on, and brought on Donny for Scot and replaced Pogba with Matic they played so well in the last game against Wolves, which leads me to his final lacking,. 3. Ole needs to be disruptive, he has created a sense of complacency in the dressing room which is not good for competition, Rashford, Pogba, Bruno are literally undroppable, even if their performances falter, I agree a big reason behind this is lack of squad depth or quality replacements for the players, However, on the flip side players like Donny and Amad have barely had enough minutes to prove their worth, the performance against Wolves this weekend was excellent our midfield of Mata, Donny and Matic played had some wonderful exchanges, and gave a good account of themselves, they at least deserved an appearance in the final on the back of that performance. In summary, Ole's decision making shows he is a rather reluctant, risk-averse manager who will not look to disrupt a bit of the balance in the side to change the outcome of a game, he acts a lot based on his biases rather than meriting players on performance which is not healthy long term for a dressing room.

Ole is not fit to be man utd manager hes a cheer leader at best . He cant make tough decisions and he has the worst coaching team in the clubs history .. he also has the glazers , board and john murtagh as d.o.f it's an absolute shambles at the club ... top 4 ambitions

Can’t dismiss it , if only because if the performances that preceded it (1point from 9). Not interested in anymore debate about Pogba or DeGea , let’s go with a developing manager and a developing team or rip it up and kidnap one of the managers who are supposed to bring guaranteed success ( Pep might be interested after last night). Jose was dire and win, lose or draw it was hard to live him or his team. Not enough love for United and that includes some of the playing staff.

Say what you want about Ole but he has done more with United than poch did with Spurs and all these tosses wanted poch at United. People have to face it Fergy has gone, it is a whole different world but it still took Fergy a few years to have a winning team, and have a look at Klopps record at Liverpool, didn’t happen overnight. Villarreal went through the Europa unbeaten so they not a bunch of farmers.
