I remember 2013 and Declan practically won matches all winter and right up to the semi final almost single handedly , he had one off day and I'm ashamed to say the lad got terrible abuse at the time from clowns that never went to matches all year. Fantastic to see his career and how it developed since then . Legend is the word.his place in Limerick hurling is set in stone.

Interesting statistics, Clare have 6 Munster titles and 4 All Ireland titles, and so does West Limerick-man, Declan Hannon. If Declan can get one more league title, he'll equal Clare's total. There is a lot of talk about winning 5 in a row national titles, Limerick won 5 in a row National Leagues in the 1930's. And that’s why the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Cup is now named after Mick Mackey.
