The loop and snap clasp option is a great way to use a toggle if you lost the bar half of it.

How high of a count of beads can you go with the peyote stitch up to 10 up to 12 what? How high have you gone?

Design software will go up to a nine drop peyote but I don't suggest it because you'll have lots of spaces between your stitches and it will be a very open weave.
