I like the fact LSU recruiting high character guys while addressing the areas of need. Imagine what this staff will do with a full year to recruit especially after locking down top recruits in Louisiana. It truly is amazing what Kelly and staff have accomplished in a few short weeks.

Frank Wilson will build us a top 3 recruiting class quickly. The addition of polian is an added bonus as he has ties nationally in areas that Wilson does not so he may be able to pluck one or two recruits outside of our traditional footprint.

Funny, Bama, Ohio state, Georgia, and Oklahoma fans all think the same for their 2023 classes. Oklahoma not typically there but off to a blazing start and has strong ins for Overton and Innis.

7 on 7 is great but not the same thing obviously as making decisions in a real game.

Nobody said it was. 7 on 7 has accelerated the game though and that’s not even debatable. It’s had an impact all the way up to the NFL level

Do not say the name "Arch Manning" and LSU together EVER! A Manning is not going to play football at LSU. He will be at Auburn, or Alabama, or Florida or some other opponent of LSU. That is just how Manning's roll.... they take from Louisiana and give little back.

I don't know they do host a passing academy here in Louisiana annually

I couldn't have said it better, I like the Manning's but man, they give no clout to Louisiana, I Coached and played against Newman in High school at Buras High, and Newman and Payton Manning put us on the Map, Buras won the State Championship when Payton was the started as a Sophomore at Newman, of course we beat them that year. I think that was the best thing Newman and the Manning's did for my community. Lol

I agree and Ed orgeron deserves too much hate because of one mediocre season. How many teams go 15-0?

Not at all. Horrible off field image, horrible play on the field, awful hires that he didn’t even interview…if he whiffs this year, he’s gone.

@@DB-qc9br uh how do you win a national championship in football two years ago and get fired? Don’t think that’s going to happen even if LSU went winless
@DB-qc9br3 жыл бұрын
@@Surgzown wanna put money on that? LSU isn’t going to stand for mediocrity after the Les Miles stint. The administration wants an elite culture (which is why Orgeron is there). The national championship was incredible, but it’s in the past now and he was not the X/O reason they played well. He was able to put a vision in place. He lost all those pieces. Now it’s on him to see if 2019 was lightning rod or can he sustain the level of success. Bc off-season + 2020 was epic failure.
@Surgzown3 жыл бұрын
@@DB-qc9br so basically Coach O was the reason that all of those pieces came together in 2019. Brought in the right coaches, killed it on the recruiting trail. Team chemistry, etc. And you’re going to let him go because of a bad year in your opinion? Hate to be the bearer of bad news but everyone no matter what profession has a bad year. It’s how you move on from that. You don’t give him credit for bringing in the right pieces to win the national championship but than blame it all on him for a bad year. Makes sense. Do you remember Les Miles? One national championship at LSU. And he was there 11 years. Same scenario with Coach O. So yeah, I would put money on it

So, you don't see a problem with lodge boy racist Scott Woodward not hiring the 1st significant black coach in 4 complete coaching overhauls at a top 10 sports college like LSU? I tell you what, I bet you cannot find one single significant black coaching hire in racist lodge boy Scott Woodward's entire hiring career as Athletic Director ANYWHERE he's been. Then the blatant racist hires of Brian Kelly to hire black assistant coaches for recruiting purposes ONLY. This is absolutely disgusting.
