That’s the problem with most “duel threat” QB’s, they’re glorified running backs with arm talent….if their first read is covered, they don’t know how to go through progressions, or learn to properly read defenses. Keep them in the pocket and you win a lot more times than not.

I think Kelly knew his o-line was sucky and started Daniels cause he had to go with the QB with the fastest legs. Daniels will probably lead the team for rushing yards this year if this game is indicative of future games. Not sure what having an elite receiver corp does for you if you never throw to them cause you’re scrambling all the time though.

The only good thing about this game was that the tigers did show determination and will to win but they got no help coaching wise. No noticeable adjustments were made at halftime, and the players had to fight on their own. Kelly looked frustrated, confused and lost... just like he did at the post game press conference. @@jerrylanglois7892 first and foremost they went up tempo on offense 2) they started running short slants and short patterns and finding holes in the zone. 3) they kept the running backs in for pass protection instead of running routes in the flat. Then they started moving the ball down the field 4) played more man up in the secondary which gave the line more time to get to the QB but they couldn't tackle him once they got to him. Is that simple enough for you???? Is there anything else that you need explained???
