It's all the same. I lived in DC and MD. Thered be times that I'd be in DC a lot and times I'm in MD a lot. You will either go to school one or have friends, females, or relatives in the other. I used to see Wale and Fat Trel in DC a lot. I see Shy Glizzy in DC a lot. People dont always want to be in the city, too many tickets, too much traffic, no malls, etc. so they go to Maryland. Quality females might be in MOCO or Nova not DC. He was probably in DC more but his home with parents in MD. That's normal.

Bro all of families started in the city and we still got family in the city. When PG county opened up section 8 and public housing people moved from the city into the county in the late 70’s early 80’s. Then when crack hit the streets the county started to separate from the city and came its own. Just like in city certain neighborhoods not be played with just like in the county. At the end of the day the city and the county is one fr only the real ones know 💯

To be from DC means you actually grew up there. Went to DC public schools, lived there not visits to your cousins house on the weekend. Hes from Gaithersburg thats DMV. DMV is DC, PG and Montgomery Co. And NoVa. The DMV can be identified by the Metro map WMATA. DCs transit system. Im from DC born and raised. Just never confuse us with Baltimore.

Most of the ppl almost 100 percent who live in PG county is from DC born in DC and moved to PG county Maryland. PG is the suburb to DC.. Wale is from Mo county. Thats why he never claimed to be from DC.. any PG county artist out now 9 times out of 10 was born in DC and hang and move around the city but reside in PG…
