SANDF members help clean up Bfn Zoo
Members of the South African Defense Force (SANDF) took it upon themselves to clean up at the Bloemfontein Zoo this morning. This comes after the community took to social media this week to express their concerns about the state the zoo is in. They claimed that animals are not being cared for due the ongoing strike by municipal workers. OFM News was however reassured by Jaco Pieterse, an inspector from the Bloemfontein SPCA, who visited the zoo and confirmed that the animals are provided for. Johan Prinsloo from the SANDF says they have always enjoyed a good relationship with the zoo
