Yosefa Shira Dahari. She actually sounds nearly identical to Ofra. ;) The only singer I've ever found whose voice is so similar to Ofra's.

@@lampeniuslinda Ms. Linda, I love your version of the song, but why was it never properly released? (I also have great respect for Bezalel Aloni, who was Ofra's friend and co-songwriter for many years, so I'm not sure exactly what was going on with the rights to this song at the time of this documentary. Perhaps he believed he could obtain the copyright to record his own version?) As a big Ofra Haza fan, I just wonder why this song got "lost" and never released. The demo you recorded is the only version that keeps floating around on youtube, but no one, to my knowledge, has ever released an official version. I'd love to purchase this on itunes and give money to the artists involved, yourself included, rather than rely on that online demo. To this day, artists are constantly releasing remixes of Ofra's music, covers of her songs, or original songs with her sampled vocals. As late as 2018, electric violinist David Cross released an album called Crossing the Tracks which features two never-before-heard songs by Ofra (the samples were recorded years ago and never finished). What would it take for you to release this song yourself? I would love to buy an official version. Isn't there some way you can get this song released at last? I hope that day will come eventually. By the way, I love electric violin playing, and your contribution to "Taarab" makes me want to check out your music. :)
