The only thing I can think of is. If one or more of your Cory cats. Are stressed or threaten they will release a poison into the water. Normally it can't kill some fish, but may kill some fish like guppies.

Nice video reaper sometimes guppies can be more sensitive than other fish to certain things and another thing it could be is a strain defect where they are a weak strain of guppy anyway hope you get to the bottom of it

probably an immunity issue. People who deal in importing large quantities of guppies see it frequently. Because they are so inbred; Guppies have a weakened immunity and are quick to many illnesses other fish can fight off. Also; if from the same brood, they would likely all perish in a close time frame. One thing i've noticed; Guppies with lots of yellow coloration seem to live longer where there was a broad diversity of breeds, the yellows would be the dominating morph after a few generations.

An I don't understand what's going on everyday since I noticed it I have about (10) or so guppies die every day , air fine water fine. I do a 10% water change ever day. If you find out the I would love to know. Could you make a video on what the problem was. 😊 THANKS

I HAD a problem with my female guppies they all died and never touched any of the males and couldn't find out what was wrong. I thought it might be something in the food. I went out and bought 6 more females and they were fine 7 months later in happen again .So I broke down the tank and cleaned it it's been fine now for 2 years .I did throw that food out and started with new. My out was 2oo females the first time the 2nd time was 300 . , just can't seem to figure it out. But it's good 👍 now

What is the PH of the water? The other fish are quite happy in acidic water but guppies prefer water above about 7.5 PH and prolonged time in water below 7PH will weaken them... and a sudden drop in PH would cause this problem.

reaper, back in 02 i had a beautiful tank of blue delta guppies, 20 gallon, planted with banana plants, melon swords, and a grassy plant for the babies to hide in. i had no other fish in the tank. i had great filtration, excellent water perimeters, water changes regularly schedule, no problems at all for 3 years. and like those, one morning every guppy was just hanging out at the top of the water. i went through all the water testing. no indication or changes in water conditions. on the third day they began dying. in a week they were all dead. only explanation i could satisfy my mind with was i must have had a bad can of food. it was the same food i always used without problems but something killed them so i blamed the food.

personally id say if you were using that API junk its half your issue. Most of your other fish looked to be softer water have you considered something in your local water changed it recently? Guppies like hard water. Coulda been something that only effected them because they were slightly weaker. Example lets say your water is not ideal for guppies but they tolerate it. Now your water company flushes pipes and you get a wave of phosphorus and who knows what else. The guppies being weaker they were the ones effected.

The black fish "with copper noses" in your tank are Black Platies and Black Harlequin Rasbora. If you have only 2 babies, it's more probable that the Platies gave birth to 2. Rasbora has more fry.

If Dawn's guppy population came to her at the same time they may all be dying from old age in succession. Have they ever bred successfully in her tank? If all the new babies have been getting predated upon by the community fish then the parent ones are the only guppies in there and they might simply have expired. A similar thing happens if you install a six pack of new bulbs in a light fixture. They will all tend to fizzle out in quick succession a few years later.

so I've had that happen numerous times. After watching dansfish videos. there is a huge issue in the US called livebearer disease. there is no cure and will wipe out your tank. I now will not purchase livebearers from anywhere else, but Dan. he works with aquatic vets, and they have done a lot of testing. it's from the extensive inbreeding and weakening of genetics. hope this helps

I haven't had anything like this but I had friends who did guppies that I grew and gave to them and they had these problems now one of the things they use a lot of tap water without being having it treated and the other thing that happened was somehow they got plenaria into their tanks and the glaria or they didn't have shrimp that plenary will attack shrimp too but the planaria we're attacking the fish they'd get in among their gills and we'd start getting internal into the body and start eating the inside out and the only thing that you can do to kill a plenary is add a antiparasitical medication as well as sea salt not sea salt aquarium salt. any further directions on the pegs is the one that comes to like a little old milk carton container type thing And you want to follow the directions on how to add it to your tank mix it in with some water let it melt stir it up add it in now do this to the original tank that the fish came from as well as if you have a quarantine tank that you're keeping the fishing now or you have the fishing accords containment Do that the quarantine tank too Medicated and add this sodium chloride rather sodium salt Aquarium salt that's it Ridge all your nets in a high concentration of aquarium salt and water warm water so if there's any eggs or small juveniles whatever they are on the Nets or in the Nets they will get killed up and add your medication to your nets too it doesn't matter if you need to turn green they're going to turn the colors anyway might as well make a pretty once it makes you there healthy nuts The other thing you could do is shake your nets in a little bit of hydro peroxide that will kill off most bacterial infections and there is a way to add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to your tank while they're fishing it to help them There's a guy on youtube who does shrimp and he advocates the use of hydrogen peroxide for his fish I don't remember what his name is I haven't seen him do any videos in about 4 or five years now but the videos are still out there i'm pretty certain he's Scottish but he lives in like Sweden or Finland or Norway something like that so he knows what he's talking about he really does he has some great videos out there that you want to check out look up Scottish shrimp keeper and it may show up unfortunately I do not remember what the gentleman's name is I haven't seen one of those videos in about since just before COVID so it's down almost five years ago But he does advocate using hydrogen peroxide in moderation and it calculated amounts to help keep down disease in your tank for both shrimp and fish.

in a was it a disease or was it another fish eating the guppies or attacking them you say something's attacking the guppies do you have an idea of what it might be? I thought it was the water parameters The water parameter would affecting all the fish He's probably some kind of virus or bacterial infection Of some kind that only seems to affect guppies or maybe live bears general And that happens their species specific hour sites I don't know what you guys have tried to remedy the situation have you tried adding some aquarium salt to the tank sometimes that will help get rid of parasites in all your fish and the other thing is is to use a parasite killer that you can add to your tank whatever liquid form it's comes in I don't know what the current ones are available the only thing you can do is just to run a regimen of the different types of medications to help or better yet isolate the fish And put them in a small tank and mitigate them there that way you're medicating the fish giving them a chance to recover and recoup it probably came in with a fish to begin with I know you've added some guppies recently in the last like 6 months the stuff come in on anything even if you quarantine for 6 months you're not insured that it's free of Z parasites etcetera It sounds like it's some kind of parasite Not knowing what's going on specifically it could be one of the fish eating the other fish These copies are good food source Especially the babies or the young ones depending on what's disappearing when I would look into seeing if you have a potential predator in the tank that's eating young ones and since the young ones are getting they're not replacing the older ones when they die off to the natural causes such as old age or other diseases that affects them. so what I would suggest is pulling all your guppies out put them in a small tank with the same plants and such as you can do in that tank and medicate it medicate it for everything add aquarium salt add Marrison and Marrison too and clout cloud is a great product the only problem is it kills off all your snails that's what you need to separate all these fish out if they have guilt flukes or other parasites or shrimp walls be killed by cloud Anything that is a crustacean or warm will be killed by clout So you know we're just dumping into your tank Willy nilly Malachi green there's all sorts of substances that could be used for medication natural and otherwise but all you can do is test it and try is they still die then it's obviously something that's resistant to whatever you're using treated in which case you probably want to quarantine that tank we took them from the ones we originally dying off in and at some aquarium salt to it how much they can take one teaspoon per 10GALLONS I think it is it just makes the water salty enough so that certain bacteria And parasites can't survive in that water you want to add the salt every 6 every for at least up to six months whenever you do water change and you want to use aquarium salt not sea salt not sodium chloride either it's going to be a former sodium chord plus other stuff what it is they take sea salt and evaporate it and it makes chunks of salt And live on things like potassium chloride and manganese chloride magnesium chloride sulfates all sorts of good stuff that you fish could use and you also want to try using catapult leaves catapult leaves are also known as Indian Almond leaves he ordered them online they work wonderful they will turn your water brown with cannons when you get them you want to put them in a pot of water or boil some water and pour the boiled water over some of the leaves you don't need many like one good size leaf for every 10 gallons in the tank And you want to save that dark and water rinse it first just in case there's any pesticides on it so you rinse it first in warm water put them in a pot add the boiling water let them steep and save that liquid then was there softened you want to release leads into your tank let them float to the bottom or where they're going to float to and then slowly add in the liquid If you boil them in it'll be a dark brown tea type color And that is very beneficial for the fish The tin is to come off the leaves and the tin is reached out of the leaves What these tendons do according to Rachel O'leary who is an expert on using these things they have been studies that show that Catalea's do the following they're antibacterial antiseptic antifungal anti parasitic so that means they help with all of these conditions that can crop up all of a sudden and kill off your fish by having the juice the tinnitus leached into the water is what gives them the best benefit to the fish. Corey of what's his name aquatic silk in the Pacific Northwest one of his workers been adding guitar police to all of their tanks and they've noticed a big difference in losses of stock after they've come in and gone through Quarantine cause fish stress out anyway I mean that's the one great thing abou.. I hope that help you Reaper and your wife feel what your wife's name is again you should admit that you're my wife and then say her name so we can remember it better was it dawn don't I think it was if I'm wrong I apologize but it's what we're doing to the for the tank and for the fish and it makes a nice cool look for the fish makes it look very tropical effect such as South American waters or the Rio **** is Blackwater Definitely black water where some of the Amazon is white water but the real flows into the Amazon I believe and where they meet they stay divided for many many miles downstream where the side where the white water comes in I mean literally gets foggy white water comes in and stays foggy white water And the other side stays awake like it looks like oil not thick as oil but color like oil like their tea but it's a pretty look in a in a black water tank some of the most beautiful fish that you can keep are like Ram Ramirez keel cicholes angelfish flag tetris also known as festivus festivums any tetris small tetris from South America especially diamond Tetris diamond Tes are gorgeous in Blackwater tank same with serpent tetris lemon tetris bleeding heart tetras candy cane tetris all the larger tetris and the smaller tetras thrive in water like this in nature also any small raspberries up to the Harley Quinn transports also thriving water like this oh I forgot to mention when you boil the botanicals you want to boil them for at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes at a slow rolling boil So you get into a high boil and you lower it down to a little bit over a simmer And let them sit and stew first 5 minutes once you do that you pour off all the water and you add more fresh water you want to use RO water probably the best thing to do that way you know there's no chlorine or pesticides or anything else in that water it's pure and that's why you need to add some sodium back the salt because our O water doesn't have any salt in it generally so you want to add that mineralization back again it'll be very very soft and good for tetris in the SE Asian fish In the soft water but not at all fish one soft water like that like African cichlids or Central American cichlids all require a little bit more calcium so you just it as you need to to suit your fish from whatever area of the world they're urgently from Especially those that are from the wild need to have water suited to them specifically . I hope that helps t Catapult is they help reduce the strength on the stress on the fish

Well you mentioned PH and PH and ammonia you're not over feeding the fish but what about hardness if you take the general hardness and the GH and the KH that's important as PH so I would have that checked too and I'm sure you've got the kits for it and for me I noticed that your water don's water looked at a little cloudy it could have been just me but it looked cloudy to me and that could be an excess food doesn't mean you have a lot of ammonia it just means you have excess bacterial buildup and bacteria E oxygen they suck it up so there isn't any left for other fish and that depends on the the type of fish too like liberals need a lot more oxygen than other fish because they've got babies inside not just eggs but babies and other fish like betas or grammys any kind of air breathing fish quarries marijuana those kind of fish they all use surface air to supplement their oxygen supply Guppies do not do that so it so could be no I honestly hope that's helpful because I can't think of anything else that it could be other than those things I've mentioned a parasite not enough oxygen exchange for carbon dioxide Too much carbon dioxide infused into the water with ACO two injectors system if you have one of those you didn't say you did or not and not enough Flint life to absorb the CO2 that is a form by the number of fish you have in your tank I don't know what the size of it is I don't know what fish there are at what size the fish are t enough oxygen that the bacteria are eating up the oxygen and producing carbon dioxide it may not be just the fact that there's an epoxy maybe there's too much carbon dioxide and having extra air stones helps forge that carbon dioxide out of the water and into your air the only other thing I could think of doing is but you don't want to do this too often because it will format algae is increased your fertilizers your plant fertilizers so they have a better food uptake to uptake all the carbon dioxide that's in the tank Cause that could be the thing that's causing you problems too much CO2 I don't know if you're using a dosing system for CO2 tank infuser or diffuser if you are it could be somehow your CO2 released nozzle or mechanism got bumped so it's on higher than it should be you know you want to check your how many bubbles you're getting per minute so on and so forth for the CO2 If it's natural CO2 from decomposition of the food then the best thing you can do is more frequent on water changes with smaller amounts of water change so instead of doing like 50% water chain ones every couple of weeks like twice a week to 5%. these are the things I can think of causing these problems And from what I've seen of the tank the other thing could be too many fish in the size tank I don't know how many fish there are you know an inch of fish you know three dimensional cube of fish per gallon of water so if you ever tank on the tank you don't really want more than say 20 small neon Tetris Those are babies baby tethers and when they grow up they're going to use up more oxygen That's one big problem with overstocking a fish Is you not over feeding your overstocking the fish And they can only use up and produce so much Oxygen for the tank even if you've got plants that are thriving in Pearland you have to have the right amount of fish per plant ratio One thing you want to make sure of is your light ratio the plants is also adequate too.

You probably should not use this as the title, when there is another video saying "Disaster Strikes" where Tracy ended up in her current state, which is a tragedy, and guppies aren't equivalent to a human being. There is also Skylar currently in the hospital, so that is also concerning. Think before you post. We are big fans and that is why I think this is a messed up title, for guppies.

If something serious happened to a member of the family or OFR crew, it would not be announced on the Behind the Scenes channel by Reaper. It would be announced by Rich or Josh on the main channel.
