OG EVENTS Are Back in Fortnite…

The fact that a purple cube *occasionally* moving was and still is cooler and more exciting than anything in modern fortnite shows you how special chapter 1 is. And to be honest, I'd still find all the old events exciting today.

The cube back then was hype because it was at the games ''peak'' in terms of explosion of new players, we all had that cube to rally us together and it affected parts of the map such as loot lake, and being able to bounce and zap people near it. When rifts starting appearing, which is what actually spawned the cube, that was under-rated since that's where it got a lot of those popular FN channels speculating what it could be etc. S1 was goated in events because it had mystery to them. I think though the Travis Scott event in chapter 2 was deemed to be the best in terms of setting that benchmark, it was really really hype and enjoyable when it dropped. It appears less so today because even if we don't know whats coming, it's to be expected if that makes sense. So unless if they come up with something so crazy, we have bias that previous seasons are better.

They not bringed back the og bolt reload they just animate it properly before that it was using the chapter 2 bolt animaion wich it was very scuffed and on this update they actually animated wich it makes me thing that they just didnt had time to put everything wich coming from epic is not a surprise im just asking for the bare minimun here playing with ch1 and ch2 stuff mixed is so sab now i hope they do the rest of the stuff right ffs epic

I wasn't a player back then so found the game lean but still fun ..good to see how the games morphed into what it is now . the moment now is unreal with the side jumps and double wall jump bit can get abit wild of ur in a jam and don't hit buttons at correct time but all about the practice I guess !

Bro, i know that this doesn't have much to do with the video, but for me, some things that kinda break the of feelings when playing og mode are 1. the little pics of the guns, even though the gun models are og, the pics are not. 2. I think og Fortnite was darker in general, nowadays when you are playing, you dont even realize the ingame time. 3. The og animations are not there, when i pop a shield, everything is almost perfect, but the moving mechanics and the animations arent og. 4. Ik thats sounds kinda crazy but the rarity colors behind the items in your inventory. Its just diferent.

Feel like the OG mode is cutting Corners with a lot of things such as the movement and with some of the models but I do like it regardless I just wish they didn't cut corners on something but on a different topic I think it would be funny if at the beginning of season 2 they were just to release the old battle passes
