i'm actually so excited to get almost the same setup, the xeon cpu prices are bonkers. Do you experience any lag with the rx 580 2048sp when you are looking at ur monitor without locked fps?

Honestly the last time I played on it it felt normal. Of course locking the fps will help with the stutters but unlocked it felt pretty good. I will go live later today benchmarking performance mode with this pc.

@fryz6732 I would recommend a Ryzen cpu such as the Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 5 5500. That way you can easily upgrade to another Ryzen cpu in the future like the 5700x3d. These old Xeon CPU’s are very good for the price but you don’t have an upgradable path and it does not support windows 11. (You would have to do a workaround to install windows 11)

@ oh well in that case yes a xeon would be fine. You save a lot of money and it’s still plays games fine. According to the specs yes the Xeons do support virtualization

@ for Fortnite it’s mostly cpu based especially in performance mode. GTX 1070 is better and you will definitely notice a difference in games like Cyberpunk, Cod, more gpu intensive games, but for Fortnite it mostly depends on the cpu. I’m looking at the cpu you posted and I didn’t realize it was the 2680 V2, I thought it was the regular 2680. So after looking at the specs again you’ll probably get a bit more fps than what I got due to the 2680 v2 having a higher clock speed. My apologies on the misinformation about the cpu.

Con eso mismo que tiene el del video vas de sobra, y si vas a mejorar, puedes mejorar por un rx 5700 XT 8gb o una Rx 6600 de 8gb, y no habrá cuello de botella (es decir que te irá perfecto) Ya si vas por algo más grande, ahí si necesitas cambiar motherboard y procesador

Try these tips Bios/UEFI - enable XMP - Enable 4G decoding - resize bar - make sure your cpu is isn’t overheating Windows - disable game bar - disable game capture - update all windows updates - disable start up apps - set windows power plan to high performance - (optional) Use EXM tweaks to debloat windows and lower your cpu processes Disable DX12 shaders and high resolution textures in the epic games launcher
