I was lucky to be a fan of Epic High at the time of their Coachella performance, tho it wasn't massive news in the kpop community (since Epik High is not kpop), some people got to know of Epic High as the first Korean artist to perform at Coachella after the news of Blackpink performing there in 2019. Blackpink got more spotlight because ... who would've imagined a Kpop group reaching such a high-level music festival. You know how it's said that kpop songs are low standard music & such stuff you hear about the whole industry.

He's reminding the young'uns hyping their faves behind keyboards that while their current favorites are successful they should acknowledge what previous generations have contributed to that success, instead of willfully ignoring how impactful that contribution has been.

I'm late to this but Epik High was the group that made me fall in love with the Korean language over a decade ago. I would spend hours looking at translations and searching for the different meanings of words to recognize and decipher the word pay and poetry of their lyrics. Watch their OG song "Fly" I started being a fan as the song is in FIFA 2007, and this album is their 10th album, Tablo made a powerful statement in the end, "I paved the way for those paving the way" , You could argue your fav kpop idol or your fav K-hiphop stars paved the way bringing k-music to the US, world etc, But he is the OG hiphop legend, been in this game for 17 years, still going strong, collaborated with more than 80+ artists, even current top stars BTS's Suga, RM, grew up inspired by EH's Fly, making them the great rappers they are today, massive respect for you reacting to EH, OG kpop stan approved.

Not just knetz but any fans and fandoms that don't understand that any success groups may have now, were helped by those that came before and that needs to be acknowledged and respected. Also that these fans HUGELY overstep in how they engage with people who've been in the game a long time and actually know how the industry truly works and has changed over time. This is the first reactor i have watched out of the countless reactions i have watched to this song that didnt just let the song play through in its entirety, i like that you kept pausing to understand the lyrics in this song because its a very lyrical song with a lot of messages which i really like as a hip hop purist and lyrical hip hop head, this is my favourite k hip hop song due to how lyrical it is, this song is already a masterpiece. I really respect that you kept rewinding to fully understand the lyrics and messages of the song without letting the song play on, most reactors just let it play on and let the lyrics go completely over their heads which is really frustrating to watch when its such a lyrical masterpiece and they are not giving it the respect it deserves by letting it just play through and bobbing their heads as if its just a club banger.
