now that you've mentioned organic, my theory is that the QR boss represents the big players in the industry and that digital siphoning imagery we've seen may be an analogy on how the big companies use their resources like, say, streaming bots or some other kpop marketing strategy to operate and that's how they stay on top, hence the boss sitting at the throne. XG coming in almost like savages and wildlings is I think Simon's way of showing that XG is not the typical commercial group that would fit right into the usual mold and would cater to the mainstream, and how the XGALX handle XG will also not be the same as how the big companies handle their groups. XG have their own unique identity as a group and XGALX esp Simon are just giving them all the artistic freedom to stay true to it until they eventually conquer the one sitting at the throne. This is just a personal interpretation of mine.

A lot of the imagery they use in this comes from the 1987 Studio Ghibli film Princess Mononoke. The title character wears the same sort of wolf-barbarian outfit, and there's a scene where a woodland god is walking and plants are springing up around its feet.

Is this love is a composition that Simon has been working on since 2019. What else was he working on back then? Shooting Star! I have to think that there are many compositions/ideas, still waiting for him to finish. I am surprised that Is This Love was so short. With as many lyricists and writers that Simon works with, Is This Love could have used another minute and a half or more so as not to sound so truncated. That would be the only reason I think In The Rain is the better song. You hit the concept perfectly, GRL GVNG, Woke Up, Puppet Show along with their other releases lead up to this tour de force, epic M/V and song!

XG is the queen of RnB and I doubt there are any Kpop idols out there who can do it as well as XG, only XG is worthy of carrying the RnB genre at this time and I am very grateful that there is a group like XG who brings the RnB genre because they love RnB to their bones and the most importantly XG always pays homage to the genre, I've also really loved RnB for a long time because I grew up with it, I'm tired of the phony groups out there and Kpop formula that pretends to imitate or mix up the RnB genre but instead it becomes cringe.

Space Meeting is an actual event of the girls seeing a UFO in the middle of the night in Korea while training, it was all over Korean news the next day of the multiple sightings in that area. They posted a video or photo of them watching the event and Simon was complaining he needed a better camera to record it and it's so funny they put the recording of their audio in an interlude skit of them freaking out. Maya's English part suggesting it was them or that XG needs to engage with the UFO is a nice touch.
