Fun fact: Solar co-wrote the song. It's not that the song fit her, the song was written by her to show herself. She wanted to show her raw, naked self in her debut solo song, which is why she wanted to shave her head to symbolise how unadulterated it was. Everyone except her CEO apparently told her she was crazy, so in the end she succumbed and went with a bald cap instead. She's... fearless. So much respect for her.

Just a helpful tip for future Mamamoo reactions: all their main MVs (and solo MVs) have subtitles on their official channel. Was just glad to see you there and wanted to let you know, since some reactors aren't always aware of that. :) Solar's release was really all about her. She's always doing what she wants, and honestly, that's really respectable in an industry with so many set standards. That's one of the things I really love about Mamamoo as a whole--they're not afraid to bust down those walls and show their colors.

Ugh I just love Solar so much. She's so UNIQUE in kpop and I love the artistic choices she makes like the bald head here and the unibrow in AYA. She pushes the envelope and tests people's limits and preconceived notions about her. I love that. She has her own youtube channel, too - you should check it out sometime. YAS!! SOLAR. For her I became a moomoo. Her personality unmatchable everybody was expecting a high pitch song and she gave us that sexy low register that killed me. This MV and what she depicts was all I needed. Everybody tried to stop her becoming bald but she went either way. The coreo is so good and her visuals are...insane. She has other solo works like her OST Blue Bird which is so beautiful and healing and the Solar's Sensitivity project which shows all her vocal versatility it has over 11 songs with MVs, my favorite ones are Nada Sou Sou, Only longing grows and Where the wind rises. Solar sings emotions. I loved your reaction and I'm looking for more MAMAMOO content

Love the song and the video. To me this is just as much Solar as Hello is. Solar is my primary bias wrecker , because my Bias is Moonbyul. I love many things about this video, but my fav parts have to be whenever she has her shirt in her mouth, dropping to the group, the Spanish vide in the second verse, the car being on for.. that last shot has me dead everytime. I am always so happy that she did not become a flight attendant. The music industry, not just K pop, needs this woman. When it comes to Moonbyul- Eclipse Love & Hate, Absense, Snow, In my room, Selfish is how I rank when it comes to videos. Even though I know important Sefliah is to Byul, it’s probably my least fav. I prefer all the tracks on Dark side of the Moon to Selfish. When it comes to MV’s I would start with Love and Hate or Selfish and end with Eclipse since it is the most recent of them, aside from the Christmas theme MV she made this year around her birthday.

All 4 are successful soloist as well asa group. 3 of the members are top selling soloist. Because Wheein the only without and album. She working on it now. But Moon was no#1, until IU came out with hers and now #2, Solar is 3 and Hwasa 4. Moon alone sold 100,000 copies of her EP

Solar has always been the oldest, the leader, the eonnie, but she was the last of the 4 members to release a solo song. Obviously, Moonbyul gives her no end of crap about being her junior as a solo artist, interviewing her junior about her solo debut, etc. and it's funny EVERY time.
