Impoverished communities breed violence and black people are the most impoverished race due to systemic racism. It's a matter of income, not race. Poor people in general tend to turn to crime and violence. Goes for white people and and Latinos all the same. Everyone is a product of their environment. It's why generational wealth is an important tool for solving the issue of violence. Hence the idea of reparations, to help repair communities destroyed from the consequences of slavery and segregation.
