Bro when sandstorm was in his prime it was like watching a miracle every game. People who come after his retirement will call him washed but they don’t understand, shit was like being able to watch prime Jordan live. Im not saying hes bad now but he aint touchin his old scythe

Yea it’s not he got worse but that other people started to play better and at the same time gauntlets got nerfed outta existence, Scythe got minor nerfs but other weapons got big buffs causing these clips to fade out.

He didn't get worse he actually got better. The other players got better too, but that didn't really matter that much. It's just that axe is too good and scythe gets shit on. Hammer is good for passive players and being op off stage. Sword is basically the only weapon imo that doesn't straight up get destroyed by axe and doesn't have a bad match up. Sword, axe, hammer meta. Going for a few hits is just better than going for a dodge read because there are tons of dodges and options after getting hit and it's easy to punish your opponent for missing a dodge read with axe, sword, and hammer. It's not a dodge read meta that's fast paced and fun, it's just slow meta that's all about stuffing out your opponent with stage control/abusing weapon throws.
