These are the other games I tested but forgot to include in the video: Halo 2 - similar performance to Halo: CE, maybe some more framerate dips but surprisingly playable Armed and Dangerous - runs OK, does have framerate dips Dino Crisis 3 - not a fan of the game but it seems to run pretty well

@@retrotechdad Ya man. Quality. I've seen it happen many times when a small channel has hardly no subs but they put out quality videos....then within 6 months to a year hit 50k...100k....I get a certain feeling and it's so far always been right. Lol. If you keep up the quality....its gonna happen.

Yes, I strictly do the emulation in batocera for lower overhead. I am very impressed as well, honestly. I didn't think it could do it.

The funny thing is there might be more games that are playable because Original Xbox Emulation hasn't reached full compatibility yet.

Is the fps overlay accurate/correct for Xbox emulation? Remembering rgc video showing it sticking to 60fps despite obvious lag.

I noticed it for Dead or Alive 3, it stayed at 60 about 99% of the time despite it feeling "slow". However, in other games I noticed that it does correctly show FPS dips - you can see it in some of the games featured here. Thank you for commenting!

Bit disappointed blood & wake isn't running, I'll ha e to have a play around when I get win 600 see what I can do. Funny story about the "big ol duke" controller, I had a massive party at my parents house before I moved away for uni. Start of the party I had 1 duke and 2 third party controllers. Morning after I had 3 dukes and 2 third party controllers

🤣🤣🤣Nothing like free controllers. My first time using a duke controller was playing THPS 2X and it was definitely different that the controllers that came before it. I think I have a fondness for it now, really want to get one of the reissues they have now. It is a bummer about Blood Wake, cool game with impressive water physics. The game seems to run well but it's sped up, really weird issue. It is a known issue so hopefully it gets resolved! xemu.app/titles/4d530010/

It's really shame we only can preserve Xbox game now, but hey better than late I guess and I still angry with those people who keep saying there no point emulate Xbox coz Xbox game is basically same as playing PC.

I'm using Batocera for this video. As long as you copy Xbox ISOs over to the Xbox folder in Batocera, it will automatically populate Xbox as an option.

For now, I don't have anything lined up for the Win600 since I have some other videos I'd like to tackle. I have the White version of the Win600 and haven't noticed any of those issues, I think its less of a problem with the white units.

I would say that xbox emulation is about a year to 2 years away from being completely playable on handhelds, For the meantime right now I still can't believe playstation 2 is playable on handhelds and GameCube

Stupid question, I bought one of these with a USB with batocera..how do I add the xemu emulator? I don't see an emulator folder.

No such thing as a stupid question! Batocera already has XEMU built into it. You should only need to add your games into the Xbox folder under ROMs. Once you do that, on the console selection screen, press start and update the gamelist.
