You have to remember this thing is running off of 2 aa batteries. The fact it has the battery life it does and how powerful it the device is, is absolutely insane even by modern standards.

How odd, I recently got a Pi 5 and tried to install KonstaKong's build but the only thing that happens is that the fan spins fast and then the entire device restarts in a loop. Other OS, like Raspbian OS work flawlessly, using both Etcher and the Pi Imager and two different SD cards.

Hey, RTD! I'm considering buying a tablet mainly for emulation (especially of dual screen + touch consoles, such as DS, 3DS and Wii U). Unfortunately, most Android options aren't available where I live, and importing them is prohibitively expensive. This leaves me with either iPads or the Samsung Tab S9 (11 inches) I already have an iPhone, and wanted to get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device, at the very least, but I'm worried about the Tab S9's size, since I'd be using it mostly paired with a GameSir G8+ telescopic controller - not putting it down and using it solely as a screen. Do you think an 11-inch tablet is a viable option to be used as an actual handheld gaming console, with regards to comfort/weight? The only other alternative readily available here, in the same price range, is the iPad Mini 7 (2024). The similarly-sized Y700 (2023) would cost as much (if not more) than the Tab S9, so I don't think it's worth it. The newer one (with the SD 8 Gen 3)? Twice as much. Love your videos, keep up the great work! Edit: Changed "portable gaming console" to "handheld gaming console", for clarification, as I meant something that can be actually held on your hands for 1-2 hours at a time without causing pain or discomfort, not something that can be hauled around, as I would be using it mostly at home (but not resting it against a desk, as showcased in most of your content).

Isnt there a way too big latency over bluetooth? I tried bt before on Retroarch with SNES emulators, and the latency was just way too big for me compared to cable.

Got the transparent green model a few weeks ago and hardly put it down since. The form factor matters. Build quality feels nice, deep sleep works, stock OS works just fine and it looks super cool. I've had multiple random people approach me about it, enthused to see something they also remember from their childhood. If you're thinking about getting one, take the plunge, but try to order one of the new colours and that way you can guarantee you're getting the revised edition.

Hades actually isn't available on Android. It's exclusive to iOS, and the FAQ says "Currently, there are no plans to support Hades on any additional devices." So I think Switch is likely the best (only?) way to play Hades on this device.

Two questions do you think ordering the screen protector and backplate are worth getting with this device? And secondly if Retroid were going to do it when do you think a RP5 Pro model may come out? why it has 20+ decoding time? i think chipset is better than my poco x3 nfc but my decoding latency in moonlight on my poco x3 is lower. about 10-14ms only
