Frogs have excellent night vision and are very sensitive to movement. The bulging eyes of most frogs allow them to see in front, to the sides, and partially behind them.

love to see the podcast out here. interesting takes about the 8 vs 11 min format especially for me who mostly plays wifi for content but has dabbled in tours. 11 mon is enjoyable and i even love forcing 10-11. it’s a good time to bring my 4 point basculin to games and pick up 3 kos or anything like that, and it feels boring to bring the same 5/6 mons to just about every game, feels like it takes away from half of the draft format

I haven't watched a lot of this ep yet, but just before I even start I would love at some point if the show could go over the kind of "most official" showdown/smogon draft tournaments and how they work, when they are, etc. Obviously there's a ton going on all the time, but like for example if I'm not mistaken it seems like the two big individual tournaments are the Winter & Summer seasonals, and I guess this DCL is the premier team draft tournament? I'm not even 100% sure that's right, would just love a breakdown of the tournaments that showdown players would consider to be the highest tier of competitive draft play and then maybe some more mid-entry level versions for people looking to get into these kinds of tournaments beyond just individual leagues, thanks!
