I agree bro it’s cause sadly the industry is groomed to be commercial and labels don’t promote this type of rap anymore. If you notice all these classic 90’s artists had a message or lesson in their music. Now Idk if this is factual or not this is just what I think happened. Sometime around 1999-2000 the government got involved with the major labels and gave them some kind of incentive to change the game from controversial to commercial and that’s when all this wack rap started. Again idk how true that statement is but it’s what I think happened
