the original version has a LOT of quick flashing but essentially the same thing. the chorus flashes between artms and the others in the video and it feels like a parallel world? its very psychedelic feeling in a way. even for people who don't have epilepsy it still can be a lot to watch - there is an essence about it that feels very artistic and interesting but the human eye version gets the point across while being a little more accessible.

Yeah for reference Thina, if you look at the chorus, basically every time there's a block of the 5 regular girls and the 5 artms girls shown one after another, those two blocks were cut together on the same beat as the fast 1/8th note vocal chops. So it shows the 5 regular girls for like a quarter a second, and the dance/tv scenes for another quarter, and then just repeats.

the original MV of Virtual Angel, just imagine the scenes with the actors and scenes with ARTMS but flashing inbetween them every 0.5sec... I believe the intention is for the viewer to see both scene together at once and have this effect like maybe the scenes with ARTMS isn't real and just virtual... also the theory that you are not supposed to stare at angels for too long.

I don't know if someone has already mentionned but the 3 pre-release (expect birth) has something related to previous artms song. Flower Rythm is a mix of Kehwa (intro of Heejin's album K) and Algorithm (the nananana part), Candy Crush refers to Plastic Candy (instrumental from Haseul's solo) and Air refers to Air Force One (OEC). Also, the Butterfly's lyrics (Been benn there, Never been been there) used in Air makes all orbits nostalgic.

I think Human Eye Ver. of Virtual Angel is enough for the music video story sequence. But the original edit has more art(style) to it with interpretation of an angel's sight that beyond humans can see. It's like angels can see multiple scenarios or visuals at a time, hence that flashy video edit.

The fact that JinSoul co-wrote 'Birth' makes me love it even more. "Dall" is definitely one of the best albums of 2024. The entire album from beginning to end is amazing.

The whole album is absolute 🔥! Definitely a favorite of 2024. Odd Eye Circle (Lip, Jinsol, Choerry) and Heejin also had albums preceding this one, which collected all five members into a new re-debut. The original video for Virtual Angel is similar to the Human Eye version, except it's several different scenes that are rapidly cut between each other sort of like a flip book (if the book was like 4 books in one). It's a very cool effect, and I like what they were going for, but my brain just cannot take the rapid flashing.

MODHAUS does really know what they are doing with their groups (tripleS and ARTMS) and it shows, the fact that they can manage to put such bops for both groups, is incredible to me, like even the b-sides slaps. Btw I reccomend you to check out the re-debut of Fifty Fifty, because that album is actually insanely good, there is a song called "Gravity", that in my opinion, could be easly a SOTY, and that song is actually a b-side of the album, which is even crazier!

In the original Virtual Angel MV there are cuts every 5 frames between the members performance and the story with actresses, mainly during the chorus of the song. All the scenes in the original MV are in here but this MV also contains extra scenes where towards the end you can see all of the actresses laying down on the ground (that wasn't included in the original). But it does give the MV a feeling like you're seeing an actual angel (very overwhelming). For me personally I appreciate the human eye version because although I don't have epilepsy it still causes me to just feel ill and it's also way easier to follow the story and focus on the music!

Finallyyyy an artms reaction!!! I love the way they did this debut, taking the elements of Odd Eye Circle's Air Force One, Heejin's Kehwa, and Haseul's Plastic Candy to create new songs for the group is so fun. Giving us a fresh start with Birth, and all of it culminating to Virtual Angel made me feel so nostalgic despite all of it being brand new. The loona girls are continuing their legacy in such a beautiful way.

It sounds like you missed seeing them in concert during their recent tour unfortunately. I got to see them and interact with them when they came to Orlando last month and they put on an amazing show. During the VVIP interactions after the show Heejin told me that she loved my hair color (its teal, its been teal since Gowon’s teal era lol) she also noticed I was wearing my LOONATHEWORLD tour shirt and thanked me for coming to see them again and she also mentioned it to the rest of the girls who then also thanked me for coming to see them again. Fun fact, their show in Orlando was exactly 2 years to the day that I saw them as LOONA in Atlanta, which is why I chose to wear that shirt to their show.

the original version is basically if the one you watched had the chorus parts cut up in 0.5 sec increments, and then every other 0.5 sec clip switched places. i would also say don't watch the "‘Virtual Angel’ Official 1 Take Dance Ver." that one is even worse than the original interms of flashes imo.

I think it's a very interesting story, but it should have been released both versions from the beginning My friends (K-pop stan but not ARTMS stans) were not open to watching it When the human eye version was released, I thought it should have given the audience a choice at the same time It's too late to change people's minds

Yeah the original virtual angel is very hard to watch. It cuts between the blue dancing scene and the scene with the girls in the car so many times. Like 3 cuts per second actually and the change of the colors and the light hurts the eyes. Only after 1 day of a lot of orbits begging to put flash warning they put it in the captions.
