I was there for my first time three years ago. I have to get back. This year with seemingly Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas feeling like they were a week a part no time to really plan anything. Thanks for sharing. Happy you were able to make it again!

FYI, when you make the donation at the booth, it's a one time donation ,because when you make the donation, the person in the booth, gives you a sign that resembles a parking permit that you hang on your rear view mirror, so that way you can make repeated visits to Oglebay Festival of Lights as many times as you wish. thank you wallie for doing this I’ve always wanted to go as a local and never have gotten to till this day as I do not drive and though I had family who been there I have not! it was nice to have gotten to go there through you that really means the world to me! with all the stress and worries of these days it’s nice to forget about it all as you are taken in by the lights! again thank you

I’m a local here (about 10 minutes away from downtown Wheeling) and the amount of traffic this light show brings is honestly astounding. We went on a Saturday night (don’t do that btw unless you want 3 hours of traffic) and the amount of out of state license plates we saw was honestly impressive for a small metro like Wheeling.
