As I was watching this video, hotfix 6.0.1 came out. Doesn't address this issue (but rather the splash attack bug) but still funny to me.

Tbf, I rather have them fix the splash attack bug. That one affects pretty much all factions and is horrible to play with. Props again to the modder fixing it and to CA being fast with the official fix.

@@Garret007 Yes, splash attacks where much higher priority. And this bug was only reported (and acknowledged!) this sunday.

I image that......with current camp system and movement exploit(unless they fix it).....as long as you can find enough meat to get new camp every so often....you basically have unlimited movement and can sack whole world on turn 1 (not sure if you can do it pre rework or not as I barely did even normal Ogre campaign(only play normally to get short victory on both lord and kinda said good bye)....let alone try try hard blitz campaign)

Yeah they don't seem to have the same rules. Probably too hard to code them to be able t place them correctly

@@MercytheMad If you recruit a lord, the lord always starts with 50 meat. So once you have enough lords recruited, you can recruit a lord and use the 50 meat to pump your main camp and then disband it. It goes faster the more lords you have already recruited once and the more regions and camps you have where you can recruit lords. Once you have enough places to recruit lords and enough lords in the pipeline, you can easily build up your main camp in no time.

@@Nozdormu1982 Yes the recruit Lords trick is good - but I think you can get meat faster by just fighting with 4 Lords in the battles.

@@MercytheMad True. It does help adding up over time. So might be nice to do it alongside of it or once you have enough gold income established each turn. I do feel tho that the mechanic goldfag has to teleport to his contractors, should have been for all ogres and he should have gotten something alongside of it. I just don't see the point in going out of may way after contracts as any of the other ogre lords. Just takes to long and especially early game there really is no point to do so as you gotta keep expanding your empire and that is worth way more in the long run.

Splash bug has already been fixed (reverted?) in today's hotfix.

None of the early access KZbinrs even noticed it… like ya it’s a bug that needed to be fixed but I don’t think it needs to be immediate

Yeah it was hard to notice without specific unit testing. If a unit isn't doing great damage in the chaos of a big battle - if you even notice it at all, you just put it down to pathing, units not quite contacting each other properly, charge not working or some other general battle jankiness.

I’m not a fan of the pack up mechanic. Would have preferred slow moving camps that you couldn’t just teleport across the map.

Or having it tied to a lord. So, you have to be in the influence of a lord, he can pack up the camp (and only one at a time) and only he can deploy it again
