In this video we paint, assemble, and have the final reveal of Italeri's Bell OH-13 Sioux helicopter kit.
The Bell OH-13 Sioux is one of the most iconic helicopters in aviation history. It was developed right after WWII and began service with the US Army in the late 1940s. It is most memorable as the helicopter that was featured in the hit TV series "MASH" and many of these choppers are still flying today.
This is Italeri's kit No 2820
I hoe you enjoy the video!

Congrats Johnny, she looks great! Very nice paint job, luckily you have an airbrush, otherwise the airframe would have been a PITA to paint with a brush, wouldn't it? 🙂Wish you a nice weekend, and I'm excited to see what comes next!!!

I just can't imagine what a nightmare it would be to paint a model like this with just a paintbrush, but I would have tried my best back when I was 12, LOL 😂Take care Mike, hope to see you next Friday. Johnny

@@hillbillymodeling So true. Sometimes I wonder how we did it back then? In the '70s and '80s I only used 2 or 3 cheap brushes, the ones that came with water coloring sets for school (remember those?), and they worked just fine. Today I would not have the patience to brush paint large surfaces like airplane wings, or whole tanks, let alone the hull of a ship ;-) And now I'm messing about with 4 airbrushes, about 20 rattle cans, and at least 50 different brushes... Back then it was just one hobby among many, which was purely for fun, and today it seems we rather strive for perfection than for enjoyment 😞So sad😞

Thank you for this series on this particular build, I too am building this kit, I am doing the Italian Navy version, I am also using the Eduard update sets for the Helo. It has been most helpful pointing out the "issues" involved with the build. I enjoy your presentation style, which makes everything very clear and easy to understand. Keep up the great work Johnny !!!
