This is my all time favorite Em track on my favorite Em album. I was maybe 1 of 3 black guys bumping this in 2000 pulling up in the student parking lot full blast

I get it. I love how his technical ability went into another atmosphere...but that Houdini track made me remember that feeling around these early slim shady style records. If he goes back to more mature albums after I am good with it...but there is a whole generation that I would like to see experience what made him the biggest thing in music from 1999-2004

Ain't nobody and I mean nobody could touch Em!!! His shit hit hardest and fuck the thumps n the trunk... every mufucka was wishing they could do it like him and sooo lucky I grew up to this shit as my era!!!! Love it...when artists heard this shit they carreers died before they even tried

If you’re a fan of more punchline rap then modern Em is prolly more up your lane, young Em is more shock factor and personal raps.
@ChicagoStyles239 ай бұрын
breh, you have it in reverse, early EM was nothing but PUNCHLINES, the one. we got now is someone trying to imitate what he think EM was. He still cool, but EARLY EM was a MONSTER!
@josephbattaglia61209 ай бұрын
@ChicagoStyles23 technically, he's even better now. Old em couldn't do the stuff he's doing in his newer stuff. The cadences, his schemes, the punches, intersyllabic rhymes, hell even as good as Stan was his storytelling are all better. You just gotta be willing to think to catch most of it now. It's not as in your face as it used to be. That's how it's supposed to be though, you keep doing something for decades you're gonna keep getting better and better.

@@ChicagoStyles23uhh.. no lmao. New eminem destroys old em lyrically. It’s not even close 😂
@ChicagoStyles237 ай бұрын
@Drogas3653 new eminem is a soulless automatic rap rap with no feel type. The yelling double time flow gets old quick and is basically a way to "impress" the casuals without saying much
@BrooklynBaker037 ай бұрын
@@ChicagoStyles23man no, that is a completely generic ignorant statement that non-Eminem fans say to discredit him, I can count on 1 hand how many times Em has rapped fast on his albums in the last 10 years

If you really love these type of punchlines then the Slim Shady LP is def an album you gotta review, his debut.

Eminem the white Big L
@chrisboricua19119 ай бұрын
Big L is top tier but no one has Eminem's allure hes a jack of all trades with no weaknesses foe thinks too far ahead and outside of the box no ones perfect but his highs are ri-damn-diculous foe that nlgga been ruling the music industry since his debut there will never be another "eminem" typa figure ever in history shordi talent is talent regardless of that nlgga skin its a different level when EVERY MC thats ever offered YOU a feature has to bring THEIR OWN best rapping to the table on their own song on principle
