As a Gen X-er who grew up on Soul Train AND Her Haw, and always seeing the blend of blues, country and r&b-Ray Charles and Willie Nelson solidifying that with their duets; this is refreshing. I guess I missed the musical segregation. I was in awe of so many genres. As most of my friends too. We were going to punk shows, but listening to Digable Planets and the Ghetto Boys; we were blessed with heavy metal/hip hop collaborations, hell, B. B. King did an album of duets with artists of all genres, his song with Heavy D is something else. You clearly love music for all the reasons one SHOULD love music, but your reactions feel like we're chill in after work, or something. :) Speaking of hip hop.
