Love your videos. I am really enjoying this Sew Along, doing a block from each quilt in the book. It is a great way to become familiar with the construction of the block for when making a quilt from the book. Not to mention the beautiful quilt we all will have at the end. I also am loving colors in the Buttercup and Slate collection.🥰❤️🧵🪡

Wow, just came about your video at the right time. Thank you 😊. I feel like I've been going through that moment t just before death, where you see your whole life flash before your eyes. These past couple years has been an emotional rollercoaster. I have a strong intuition, and am aware of everything going on. It's hard, cause my family doesn't see it. I find it hard to deal with mean negative people/family. But like I said, and I'm sure a lot of people are going through this, because of the evolution, that we are judging ourselves for our past actions, and our words. She's that sound crazy!

I remember picking out fabrics for the quilt my mom pieced when my husband and I got married and we spent hours! Hey Corey, I have a question that's been bugging the beegeezies out of me so while on my mind I thought I'd get your opinion on it. I've always heard and I do this, wash all my fabric and iron before I start my project. Only because I've heard the darker colors would bleed on quilt if I needed to wash down the road if used a good bit. What is your thoughts on this? Thank you Tammy
@CorianderQuilts2 жыл бұрын
You are going to find both answers depending on who you ask! I pre-washed when I began making quilts for the very reason you named and also to shrink the fabrics before working on the quilts. I no longer pre-wash and haven't for years. But, I do throw in several shout color catchers the first couple times I wash my quilts. It's the reds/purples/navies that tend to cause problems so if you use those colors a lot, you might be happiest pre-washing and/or if you don't always use quilt shop quality fabrics.
@tammymiller28702 жыл бұрын
@@CorianderQuilts thank you, never thought about using those color catchers. That sounds good! Have a good day
