This reminds me of some old school late 90s early 2000s r and b and I love his Mj dance moves, he's pure talent and I think there is a deeper meaning to this video but I ain't figured it out but I LOVE this song! @@eldricreacts oh he's singing it and this album is titled Everything I Thought It Was and it's 18 tracks out in March and he brought back fun JT according to collaborater TIMBALAND!! The video is supposed to be like INCEPTION meets BEING JOHN MALKOVICH and to show vulnerability and in the end he don't need all that fancy video stuff when it's about the music , the song itself so he strips it down and just dances it out..puts the lyrics in choreography..classic JT❤️

Until I watched your video I hadn’t thought about the deeper meeting but I’m feeling like it could represent early in his career when he was doing everything they wanted him to, waving to the crowds/curtain closes. Then slowly they tried to put him in a box. He finally bursts through the box, goes out on his own. Then - he takes a break (goes outside and leaves the studio - he talked about how he wrote this album and worked on it for four years since 2020) we get flashes of the footwork and then, in the final scene - he’s back and dancing. In my opinion, outside his original box and back doing the music he wants to do. Just my guess!

He’s goin on tour he has a show coming up here in New York at Madison square garden I believe July 26… heard THIS song because my husband heard him singing it on SNL and he was the one who told me about it, also dedicated it to me. My perspective of this music video is in the beginning, after the crowd cheers before what they actually see, we enter into the new set of his behind the scenes. He’s affected at work because of his lover. Going through the small door may symbolize the walls are closing in on him but through all of that discomfort, he’s still pursuing his lover, trying to get to her- through that phone. Stomping the little house kinda makes sense to me now since he’s tryna defeat the small spaces and pressure/discomfort around him. Then in the end, he kills it in his performance. Okay now I think I understand the music video 😂
