Lisa, I remember when I was a very young girl and you were active on Twitter a lot. You replied to every single question I had with such kindness, humor and patience, even though I was just a German teenage fangirl with poor skills of the English language (well, that didn't change at least, haha). I've commented on this song years ago, and what I said before still stands. I think it's WAY too easy to sing some modern pop song, throw some melisma ad nausea into it, and sound like a gifted singer. To take this classic piece, be so subdued in comparison to your standard repertoire of songs, and to not only have the perfect tone for the mood of the music, but the technical PERFECTION to nail every single (pardon my French) DAMN note with effortlessness is SUBLIME!!! And that final "Noel", good Lord, I have never, Ever, EVER heard a PERFECTLY executed vocal line with a spatial vibrato timed so precisely, so nuanced, that I can't find another singer to compare it to because it something unique to you. And it floors my soul every time I hear it. Thank you. Not for letting us listen to your music. Thank you for allowing us the privilege​ to experience it.

In the age of american idol and x factor, I think people have mistaken TV celebrity for real vocal talent, which is what you definatly have. Im a huge lisa lavie fan. This performance is amazing to say the least. Ive listen to alot of her songs and brilliant renditions of others. There is something about this that is just so beautiful. Ive never heard a singer in key and such amazing tone. In my own expert/opinion this ranks up there with Celion Dions Titanic song. Lisa Lavie (I think) is the future of true singing and artistry.
