I've been playing almost my entire life. Performing in Drum Corps. I've seen and performed with some incredibly talented people young and old. You have something special and if this what you can do when you have nothing else better to do, I'd love to be there when you're performing for real. Great work man! If you ever give Drum Corps a shot.. look me up. I have the best place for you.

So awesome! Would love to hear some more Christmas music covered! My trumpet I played in high school is hanging over the bar at a local restaurant with a plaque that says "Al Hirt"! LOL! Oh yeah.. a request "Theme from Star Trek" from Maynard's "Conquistador" album! Funny story: In high school I was messing around one day and learn how to fake squeal the stratospheric last note! I couldn't do it that loud, but it was very easy! One day in the auditorium I did it into an open mic! I put on a big show like I was really straining and pulled the horn away from my mouth really quickly! Blew all the first chair trumpets away! They were always jerks to me so I never did tell them how I did it! LOL! Anyway, keep up the incredible playing! You'll be big someday I know it!

@Triplefunk8513 жыл бұрын
I realize it's been a year, that you know the instrument really well, it's not a professional mic, but the only thing I suggest is darkening and warming the tone with the flugelhorn. Other than that, incredible. :)

Is there any tricks to hitting the high notes on trumpet or just lots and lots of practice?
@spryjo0110 жыл бұрын
Lots of Practice, and lots and lots of AIR. Air is a trumpet players best.
@jessecortez267610 жыл бұрын
No tricks just practice and pushing yourself and trying some things to slot the notes in the right place. Like for me for awhile I couldn't play an E I could play a high f up to a double A but I couldn't hit the E and after some practice I figured out that if I use an alternate fingering 1+2 instead of open I hit the E just fine. So it's about practice and trying some stuff but I'll tell you one thing that is always true, your embouchure is the same in all registers that doesn't change. It's all about support speed of air and strength. And the less pressure the better.
