About the honey, this is not some random food source Rimuru got from the forest. He received it as a gift (in the manga) or requested it (in the LN) from bee monster in the forest. He realized that sweet food sources are very limited in that world (no sugar at all, sweet food is mostly fruits), and even with the honey he can only produce it with limited amount (because that is not raw honey, Rimuru processed the substance using the help of Great Sage so that it has the processed taste and condition as our world's supermarket honey).

Actually in the case of lizardmen they choose no matter the gender, the daughter of the chief choose a more human form cause she like shoei (the ninja kijin), to be more pretty. So it doesn't matter the gender since if you watch the episode again, or read the manga, you'll see it there. The special trait of the dragonknewt is that they have dragon wings in their backs, dragon tails (reptile tail) and horns in their heads, both human and lizard form share those.

hiya, another time for weekly rants from me: 1- gazelle dwargo is that dependable cool uncle who got your back whenever you got trouble and he will come to tempest to play a lot. well, aside to survey rimuru (his excuse to play) and to spy on tempest (more like study session together) so that rimuru and tempest won't do anything dangerous to their alliance 2- bester is really dependable once he is in research mode. he research magic and other things too aside from potions to mass produce. he is one of the contributors that enables rimuru to make teleportation portal and some magic barriers that is results from their research long time ago, and they will make some transportation too 3- only dragonewts under souei becomes human-like, including the males as they are ninjas, they need the ability to be more human as a mean of espionage to other countries. the other males does become dragonewt with wings, enabling them to fly. not to mention gabil/gabiru gains a skill that can manipulate luck. he is afterall gets named twice so he really is a lucky guy (kazuma's luck seems affecting gabil/gabiru too). 4- milim nava and the other three demon lords are supposed to be playing a game where each on of them will try to persuade rimuru to serve under them and supposedly one of their rules is not to go meet rimuru personally, only their underlings should go persuade rimuru. karion and frey should be the ones that make their first move but failed to recruit rimuru, and as when time pass and milim is childish, she just said, "screw that, it'll take too much time by then" so she just go and meet rimuru 5- milim is one of the strongest, but not really the strongest either, as their abilities is like rock paper scissor you know. one abilities may be able to cancel another. there are 8 demon lords and two of them can contend with milim if based on raw power alone. not to mention that not all of these demon lords are awakened demon lords. during the fight, milim doesnt even use even a fraction of her power yet, merely raw power, as for defense, she got a passive barrier that can negate some damage and even prevent status effect. she is an effing nuke tank 6- demon lord themselves are merely title for one of the strongest for demon races, not that it show you are evil. its just like no matter what race you are, if you are kind, then you are a good person. if you're bad, then you're evil. and milim is far from evil, but a bored strong child is troublesome to handle. and as an adult, to handle a bored child is either playing with them, or to feed them delicious food. after they know the carrot, then you can slowly introduce them to the stick. the stick that rimuru uses when she makes trouble is like "i will confiscate today's pudding for dinner if you misbehave". that is to say, someone needs to be an adult and educate a 5000 years old child 7- milim is known by the demon race and other nations is because one, she is a troublemaker that will do whatever she wants so everyone will be afraid to anger her. its not impossible for one nation to cease to exist just because she doesn't like them. so everyone treats her scarier that death itself. milim has a very interesting backstory which involves death of someone dear to her, which results in her becoming a demon lord, but that will be for later 8- clayman wants to be the strongest demon lord, which is why he wants to make geld/gerudo serve under him to increase his military might (the terms gerudo comes from games legend of zelda, which is why for me gerudo is more appropriate for his name as an orc lord). but he really underestimate other demon lords too much, especially the old ones (the little one doesnt count i guess?!)

since many things depend on interpretation or translation i wont say the lizardman evolving depending on beauty or power is wrong, but how i understand it from the manga was that both male and female evolved into dragonewt, the only other information that the manga gives and the anime skip was that the female turn out to be more human like and could hide their wings and horns, and that made them perfect to be part of souei´s infiltration team. the only reason as to why they have this human form or ninja-like abilities is a may be and is because all of them actually like and respect souei.

Funny fact; the 'demon lord' everyone is talking about here is the title, not the 'demon lord class'. Milim is classed as a 'True Demon Lord' because she is the daughter of the True Dragon Veldenava who is the very 1st dragon. Also, about 1/2 of the demon lords shown in the anime so far are only about 1/10th of milim's power. the reason they have the title Demon Lord is only because Milim and the other True Demon Lords let them out on a whim.

What Gabiru said at 7:52 is not an excuse but a Japanese saying. In Japanese Lore, when one dies their spiritual body travel through the river of death. One side is where the living is and the other side is the after life they need to cross the river so that they can undergo to the process of reincarnation. A "Demon Lord" is more a rank or title than an actual demon thing. You have to join them or replace one by defeating them to become a Demon Lord though.
