Everyone noticed the similarities with Justin Timberlake so do not worry, you're spot on. This song like Seven I see them as JK declaration of independence. Basically saying to the world: I'm a grown up and yes, I'm sexy. On the radio recently he said something like that (paraphrasing since it was a Korean translation) :"I'm 26, I'm not innocent, I know all I need to know." JK is doing what every young pop star in the US eventually had to do. The Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and so on who grew up in front of the cameras, one day decided to get rid of their cute image and chose to be sexy and explicit. Now I think JK is still cute but I'm enjoying his new found freedom and his way of expressing his sexiness. I guess people who knew BTS from the start will have to adjust but since I discovered the band with ON, JK was a sexy adult first time I saw him (Kinetic manifesto MV). Now I'm curious what his whole album will be like. Will he choose more sexy songs or some romantic ones, or maybe a rap addressing a social issue? Anything is possible. After all, what never changes with JK is that he can do it all. Thanks for your reactions.

Truly sorry for the ones who couldn’t accept him and got fixed in that persona. They’re missing the growth and the fun. I still don’t understand how “peaches and cream” from Blood Sweat & Tears be okay, “Let me have a taste Give me a good ride” from Like Crazy be okay, “Girl we be ridin” from Sexy Nukim be okay, but “I HAD …” and “got you playin…” be not? They were clear from the start that he’s going mature. As for Justin Bieber collab, I want it so so sooo much that I made a shorts video about it. 🤩… Please check it out. Everything you said in this reaction is one point….from his expansion to western international audience, choice of funky catchy rhythmic songs paying homage to earlier pop artists, his hard work and talent of being able to do it all sing, rap and dance. Finally someone noticed! It's the first thing I noticed. BTS debut they wore black like in Kook's debut song Seven. In their 2nd album N.O. they wore white like in Kook's 2nd official single. In N.O. BTS were also on stairs. The platform is a call back to Not Today. Love that Kookie is giving nods to BTS videos that only OG fans would catch. Now if he comes out with a third video where he wears a highschool uniform and the word Danger is used I'm gonna die of laughter and nostalgia.
