Ken, I'd be curious to get your thoughts on that lake, being it's supposedly the best in Texas. What were the ramp conditions like, where'd you stay, were there tons of boat traffic, etc. Things like that, so that us guys that want to go, but need to plan way in advance have some good insight on. Just a thought from my brain.

Ramos are good, Concho and elm creek. Stay at either marina for a good price and boat traffic is low right now. Will pick up during sharelunker season January-March.

Is the Garmin LS 34 just amazingly better than the LS32 transducer? Or they pretty much the same?

It has about a 30% better target separation than the 32. On the larger screens 12" or larger, it's worth it IMO..

I've been scoping with the Slice blade bait in bushes, because it works. Not in dense branchy bushes. Old bushes. Works in open water too, surprised me how they will eat it once they see it. One spooked and dived away as it came up on him then turned around and ran it down. Edit - not on Ivie.
