Who are these guys? They are my ocs! Their names are Dario (brown haired) and Garrett (blond ponytail), a couple you can check out on my tumblr blog linked below! The other two ocs you can see are Mei (dark haired gal) and Kathy (redhead). There are a few other silhouettes of other characters as well.
Are they your personas? I apparently get this confusion a lot (maybe because its common for youtube animators to animate their personas?) BUT no they are not! They are original characters that I created and are in no way related to me or anyone else.
Are they boys or girls? They are two boys in a relationship! Please don't think Garrett is a girl simply because he likes dresses.
What programs do you use to make this?

I think I finally get it, Dario has been listening to Garret's depressing thoughts for so long that he's afraid of him breaking down alone, without him there to help. But now, Dario is filled up with so much sadness and anxiety worrying about Garret, he is the one breaking down in the end. But Garret sees this and hugs him to comfort and calm him down, like Dario did for him.

I really adore the story you did for this one! My theory is that Dario is always there for Garret and acts as his emotional support or his shoulder to cry on. He loves him and wants to help him, but it's taking a one-sided emotional toll on him that builds up throughout the animation. In his mind, he probably believes that Garret already has too much on his plate so he doesn't want to add on to it so he doesn't share the pain he feels from it all to him. His grey hair might represent the stress he's gaining from carrying so many of Garrets emotions and not telling about any of his own, and eventually Garret catches on, acting as his shoulder to cry on in return. earlier this year something similar happened to me, my ex boyfriend was suffering from depression and I was the reason why he got out of depression but I got stressed and abit later I had a mental breakdown a week before quarantine. So what I get from this is Dario seeing Gare putting on a happy face and knowing that underneath it is depression. And from what it looks like, Dario helps Gare cope with his depression. But this in turn makes Dario depressed and worrying himself and wears him out so much to the point his hair turns grey from stress over it. And in the end Gare sees this and acts his shoulder to lean on. This is what I get out of it but perhaps I’m looking at it from the wrong angle. Love your work so much Skaroy :) 💜

I think the comparison of the “baby” character and the one getting “gray hair” in the song is very interesting. I think it’s a really good metaphor for taking too much responsibility and not allowing yourself to be weak, an adult doesn’t cry to a child because they are supposed to be strong for them. In the end of the animation Dario learns that’s not what their relationship should be, they should be equals and equally supporting each other and he is allowed to be vunerable.

Honestly, this made me cry. No joke. The animation, the meaning, the song, everything. I used to have a boyfriend that was constantly in a state of, well, melancholy and sadness. Always dwindled in doldrums. He was awful to himself. He always degraded himself, and put a lot of pressure and stress on to me to the point of me bursting into tears from stress and confusion. I had to tell him that the way he acted hurt me a lot, and made me want to break up. He had a lot of problems. He hurt himself everytime he thought he did something wrong to me, and threatened to kill himself. He would ask touchy questions like, "what would happen if I jumped off the roof?". He was mentally abusive to me, and made me feel bad. He pushed all of his mental problems onto me and I didn't have time to think of myself. I slowly crumbled, and eventually broke. It was the worst relationship I've had by far. I'm not comparing him to Garett, no, no, but he made me get a little gray spot in my HEART for every scare he shared. If you, or anybody else deals with someone in the future that uses you as a punching bag or "toy" to release all their stress onto, and you feel like you just wanna cry, leave them. If they have deep, deep problems, they need to figure them out by themself.

I didn't really try to get away from him. I told him multiple times to get a therapist but he says it won't help. He hasn't gone to a therapist before, but I have and I can prove it helps. I know going to therapy and how much it helps is subjective from person to person, but he was actively refusing help from me. I tried to help him by going to tell his grandmother that smoking in the house is bad for his physical health, but he did everything in his power to stop me. I knew he needed help, and now he has help, but he was actually the one to tell me that it's an unhealthy relationship and we should break up. I already knew it was bad, and it messed with my brain and my body when he was texting me at 2 in the morning saying he was gonna kill himself so I nearly have a panic attack for him to not kill himself. I didn't want him to of course, he's a great kid, but I was just really tired of the same cycle of crying wolf go on.

Well deep problems should be helped with by a professional. It's not healthy to put all that stress on a partner (I had a boyfriend like this but the twist was that I was the same back). I ended up really bad but after years of therapy I am much better, and I hope he's doing well too.

I had this problem in the relationship I am in right now, I was not in the mindset to date but I loved my boyfriend so much it would be impossible to live without him. I was always stuck looking into the past about the mistakes I made and the people that hurt me. I didn't want to let go of him because I he made me really happy but since that always scared me since I thought I was going to lose him I would always burst out into tears out of nowhere and tell him my fears and why I was sad nearly all the time. This went on for a while until he finally told me how I was making him feel and how him always talking to me about my fears was hurting him but even so he continuously told me he would not leave me because that didn't affect his love. This is stupid rare and because of how honest he was about how I affect him I was able to start to get over my past sometimes I still get stuck in the mindset that I will lose him but the trust I have with him now and the honesty I know we both have now gives me nothing to worry about. Sorry about the rant but please, in a relationship be honest about how you're feeling or it will hurt you, the other person, or the people around you. Also while its good to be honest about your feelings and traumas don't let it take over a relationship and when I say that I mean don't vent about it and don't do anything about it, in the song when it says "I get a little grey hair for every scare you share" it talks about how stress can be given if a friend or loved one has constant problems that they may or may not be able to do anything about, that point is increased at the end where it says "I might die". I just hope people can see my comment and I hope its able to help, good luck out there

This is about how every time he hears a scare he gets sadder and sadder. “Saddest little baby in my eye” as in he sees him being sad but caring so deeply about him that it’s hurting him. Constantly seeing and hearing him cry at night, at parties not happy, and just seeing him cry a lot is getting to him, as if he’s becoming depressed because he is depressed. Once he got better, he also got better. He’s just happy and might want to die because all of the negativity from him is making him sad, and concerned for him. Always let other people what you’re going through and let them know that you’re gonna get through it because they love you dearly and want what’s best for you

Ok so, my ex gf at the time broke up with me because she wasn't sure if she wanted a relationship with me, and I met this handsome trans boy, who happend to be a tsundere (when the person seems like he dosent care about you but actually he/ she does) We started to hang in the classes we went together, and it was like a dream come true, he became my best friend rapidly and everyone knew I liked him, my ex started talking to me again, and I didn't know what to do... At the end of the school year, we had to perform a dance, wich of course made me happy, even if he wasn't treating me "right" and he kept on insulting me the whole year, but I saw it as a friend thing, aand I had a huge crush on him so I didint care. I met his parents and they pretty much liked me, I helped him tell them he was trans, everything was just like out of a movie. Around this time, I said: I summon a trap card, wich will be used later, he didint understand but I let it pass. Two weeks before the end of the year, I walked him home as always but we stoped at a park cause we left early. Somehow we ended up huggin for so long it became dark, he bited me and I almost coudnt resist sharing my feelings, I just said I "love you" wich in my language its a little less than LOVE, its caring for someone but dosent mean you are atractted to that someone. He then said: "yeah... I kinda love you too, but don't tell anyone" So yeah, good for me yey right? My head was over the clouds, I was so excited bout our relatinship and what we were, but I kept on being "normal" with him and so did he, so everything was kinda the same, untill the last day, the presentation of our dance. After the performance, his mother told me and another friend if we wanted to come over to their place and celebrate, we both accepted and went to his place. Our friend went home early and we spent hours talkinh and joking At some point, his mother asked me if I wanted to spend the night and I almost freaked out... cause his room only had one bed (a marriage one) so........ could I be that lucky? Yes, and we went to sleep on his bed but never stipped talking. Me: I activate my trap card! Him: Watt???? So I explained Yu Gi Oh! For him for like an hour, I was so nervous Him: so, what's your trap card? Me: I... I like you... Him: ye I know, that was it? I was stunned! I thougg I was hiding my feelings like a pro. anyways I asked him if he liked me back, and he said: I don't know, it's not like I don't but I can't say yes... So I asked him if I could kiss him and he told me I was an idiot, and that I shoudn't ask those things. So I kissed him, we kissed for a long time, I was so happy... I woke up and went home, a week later I texted him and asked if I could go to his place agaim, and fast foward, im in his bed again, but he was cold, he said he woudn't kiss me again cuz his feelings weren't clear, but he made a mistake kissing me last time. I asjed to leave his house but he refused, he said leaving at that point would be useless, so we slept and I went home. He mever talked me again after... But I miss him a lot, I miss having a friend and I know he was mean to me, but I just can't help it. And this song, they look just like us so much... I freak out whenever I think about it, this song remindes me so much of him... sorry to spill out my problems here, but I belive it's a interesting story and I always wanted to share it... thanks for listening UPDATE: After three years of last school day, I went to his house to talk with him, his mother recognized me and invited me, his father welcomed me like we had seen each other a week ago, but I was very very nervious, I had to put all my boldness to do it, he was surprised as well, but decided to listen and talk to me. We talked about how both did wrong things, how he helped me a lot through that year, how his family now accepts him more, I showed him a lot of things I wrote for him when we ended our relationship, and of course we talked about the past. I'm glad we talked and I really hope the best for him, this will be the last update, so I recommend you one last thing; Have fun today!

this reminds me of every time i’d try my best to be there for all of my online friends who was going through shit (and trust me, there a literal shit ton of em) and i was basically their personal therapist because i’d always feel the need to cheer them up since “that’s what good friends do”. it got so bad that i’d get anxiety every single time my friends said that another friend wasn’t answering it said something even a little off-it was to a point where i was reading every message and reading into every little thing i felt was off. hence how i learned how to analyze whether or not someone is okay or not by their pfp, username or what they say. it hurt so bad that i would cry and panic if they stopped answering, and it scared the shit out of me every time, so much so that i felt like it was taking years off of my life. now everyday i’m always afraid i’ll do the same thing they did, which is why i constantly say sorry whenever i feel like i’m bothering someone.
