Sounds like the armature is out of balance or a bearing has failed.

Totally agree. Seems like it is internal to the motor. Second one of these that has failed in 5 months :(. First one started making noise and then seized. This one seems like it is days away from the same fate. I am thinking I will make my own tumbler or definitely upgrade.
