​​@@ParkAvenue34When you're making tassels you need to wrap a tie cord around the center so you can go through the center of the whisk while the rest stays intact while you tie it. An old country way of doing it is using a piece of cardboard or heavy paper. Cut the cardboard twice as wide as you want the tassel long. Wrap it as thick as you like. Then tie in the middle, then remove & tie again a short distance from the center, as you hold the tassel taut.
