What a fantastic video for me and the visual of the clock face is so good. Great explanation as well. Hope family are well too!

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of swinging from 2 o’clock, but none the less useful check points. My problem is that on the pay and play courses I mostly frequent, there isn’t a lot of sand in the bunker, just a sprinkle over a hard base. Playing out of those is probably useful to a large part of your audience.

Sitting down, going low, an old Seve tip.Use that not only for bunker shots, but also for short chips around the green with good lies.

Well, this is basically like Jason Day has played bunker ever since. There is even a lesson together with meandmygolf where he presents this. Except for the clock, which imho is not necessary if you just say "Don't cut across the ball"...

When i get a course with sand in the bunker i will try it😂😂

Like this. How far behind the ball are you hitting?

1 inch!! With speed 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Thanks for reply. It seems that this system is best used with a ball that is sitting up fairly nicely in a bunker rather than under the lip or buried? Correct?
@gerardgauthier48762 ай бұрын
You should use this clock system to demonstrate a normal swing.

I’m confused. Another golfer (former tour pro winner) says to take a steep swing and to accelerate through your swing. If the pin is close; widen your stance and open the club a little.

It's a minefield, so many options depending on lye in the sand, pin position, height of bunker face. The best instruction I've found is from Dan Grieve, he covers so many bunker situations, definitely worth looking at his content.
