I am so glad to have grown up during the time period when the music of our generation we listened to was GREAT! I feel they should play all these great hit songs on car radios again and elsewhere as would make the world a better place. The music of the 50's, 60's and 70's made people smile, laugh, and dance. Great times. Wonderful memories.

Amber I think the actor with the high voice you were thinking of was Marion Ramsey from 'Police Academy'. This was huge back in the day, Shirley and Company, were Shirley Goodman and Jason 'Jesus' Alvarez produced by Sylvia Robinson who was the co-owner of 'All Platinum Records', they had other hits "Cry, Cry, Cry", and "I Like to Dance" and "Disco Shirley", they released other tracks but this was there biggest it.

@@CliffJOnes-m5n That was my thought as well. I had thought that Ms McQueen used that voice just for her character in the movie but I saw an interview done with her decades after the movie and that seemed to be her natural speaking voice.
