I am from Turkey. Last week, Me and my wife were on a trip to South America. We visited about 6 countries and all of them were very friendly. We loved South America sooo much. We fell in love with Rio. People playing football and volleyball in beaches, great views, great coctails, delicious meat. People are enjoying the life inspite of economic conditions. Peru was an exotic and different country. Lima was a great city. Cusco, Ollantaytanbo and Aguas Calientes were so different. People were so kind. Honest and hardworking. In Colombia, a man offered to pay our supermarket bill because we had Dolars and cashier didnt accept Dolars for payment. In Buenos Aires, we wanted to take the Metro but the woman in the ticket office didnt speak English(as normal) and we couldnt figure out how to buy a card and how to fill it. We asked a young man around who was with his mother. He explained it but I still found it a bit complicated. He understood it on my face and he gave his own card and said that he could use his mother's. I offered him money but he didn't take it even though I really insisted. And he card had 6 passes inside!! We were so pleased and suprised. We loved the city. So vibrant, so lively. Always a different event on every corner. People are so welcoming and intense. They stil had hope and life inside them . We love you Argentina and South America.

I grew up in the San Telmo market. It was a dark, damp half empty place back in the late 70's, some butcher shops, and also second hand stuff, a record store, black and white TV repair shops, cobblers... I even saw two butchers having a knife fight once. I never go there now on a weekend, but it's a good thing they didn't tear it down and it resurrected back to life.

@AleXander-uf2dm2 жыл бұрын
