Yea, the little piglets will appear wrinkly as newborns. I can tell you are worried, back in the day the barn we had our horses at had piglets and had to bottle feed one piggy. They soon learn to sip out of a shallow bowl while you watch, this takes some stress of Posey who I know you love so much. I believe they will be fine. God Bless

The babies look really good. Posey is a good mom she's doing great trust me . I've worked with sows that would eat their babies and would get extremely mean after labor they had to be kept in farrowing crates for human safety and the piglets safety.

I grew up o a farm. Mostly we grew fruit and vegetables for our use and to sell at local markets. We also had chickens, ducks, geese, horse and pony, a milk cow, a steer for meat every few years. We also raised pigs for food, and to sell once the piglets got to a certain size at livestock auction. When the sows had their piglets, the sows were kept on farrowing pens till piglets got bigger. But sometimes, mama pig would accidentally lay on one. Because of the sows size and weight, it does damage to piglets internally, where piglets don't survive long. Not to say we didn't try saving them, we did try. When they got laid on by mama pig, we separated them from mama pig and the other piglets, and tried feeding them that way.
