So I'm not sure if this was right, but for Axl it wasn't that he COULDN'T got to the past, it's that he WOULDN'T go back, because doing so would need him to destroy all the time in between him going traveling back and the present day, and doing so would not only essentially "kill" all his friends he meet in the present, he also realized that even if he lost what joy he had in the past, such as his girlfriend or just having fun, he would rather just find new things to enjoy in the present such as discovering the present(or future for him) or just being with his friends

The lyrics are also off on Baiken's song. 59:43 When it says, "This is her way" the screech before that they are saying, "no forgiveness" then it should be, "necessary". Also, "My vengeance will be a sacrifice, then kill the pain" is supposed to be "My vengeance will be a sacrifice, pain to kill the pain." Which fits Baiken's personality and story in the DLC better. Also, the Japanese bit is the Mantra of Light. At least the first part. Not an expert by any means but, おん あぼきゃ べいろしゃのう まかぼだら まに はんどま じんばら はらばりたや うん, Om abokya beiroshanō makabodara mani handoma jinbara harabaritaya un translates to Praise be to the unfailing, all-pervasive illumination of the great mudra (or seal of the Buddha), the jewel, the lotus, and the radiant light turning (or existing in our world). It's said that when one cants this without ego and with sincere devotion and a clear mind Buddha will dispel all ignorance and delusion.

@@flamemdq Oh, yeah, no, it's a reasonable conclusion to draw! I will say, however, that the decision on I-No's theme is an intentional one, and it's one of my favorite songs in a soundtrack full of amazing songs.
