@@theodoreroberts8242 Paracelsus as a Magical Foci, changes on the accord of the one wielding him... so is not that he changed for A.B.A as he changed BECAUSE of her. It wasn't until A.B.A's Strive's Ending when he, not fell in love, but came to accept his position as A.B.A's partner... if she wants to call him her husband, he's ok with it as she is the one who have been on his side all this time. Also, Para willed himself to become blue because that's ABA favorite color... so he may have some sort of control on his form but not completely

With ABA and Paracelsus (the key) the basic idea is that they're two people who are still learning how to be people, and as a result they've hurt each other in the past, but they mean well ? 🤔 Notable context is that in past games, Paracelsus didnt turn into black sludge, he turned into a violent monster who tried to get ABA to kill people for him so he could drink their blood, he'd presumably also drink ABA's blood, cause he got visibly excited whenever she got hurt and was bleeding So Paracelsus is not just a poor guy captured by ABA, they've been kinda mutually harmful Strive is 6 years after the old games, and Paracelsus has chilled out a lot, resulting in ABA becoming the more violent and dominant of the two, and Paracelsus now turns into black sludge as he's affected ny the turmoil of their emotions (he's a magical living object shapeshifter, it happens)
