Fun Otter Fact: Otters constantly clean and groom their fur to maintain it's beneficial properties. They essentially have two layers of fur covering their bodies that trap a layer of air between them. The dense fur and trapped air help keep the otters warm under water 😋

PLEASE be careful!! It’s very common for people to kidnap wild animals from their habitat and try to sell them. Bingo came from a captive line and never would have been wild, but otters are a much more popular pet there than here (though still not common by any means). Do very extensive research not just on the laws for owning such a pet, but also the money it takes to care for one (rare animal vets can be a hell of a haul to get to and can charge extreme rates) and their extensive needs, and on whatever source you will be using to procure one.
