I also thought that Muichiro & Mitsuri's training should have been in the same episode with each getting half, but I did truly really like the paper airplane scene and don't want it to not have existed.😭But personally, Mitsuri isn't at the top of my list when it comes to my favorite characters, so I don't really mind. Additionally, like you said, the training itself didn't need much screentime, but they could've given us her own paper airplane-type scene. Obanai's training was the most thorough and well-made imo. Sanemi's was less about training and more about his relationship with Genya, and as a Genya stan I love anything having to do with him, so I definitely really liked this episode! I would say my episode ranking so far is 2 = 4 > 5 > 1 > 3. Super excited for Gyomei and the 3 episodes we have left! Sad though you probably won't be able to do these videos for what are probably going to be the best episodes of the season :(

My guy genya literally blamed his brother (Sanemi) for killing his mother, how do you think a young Sanemi feels having to kill his own mother with his bare hands whom (mother) killed all his siblings and his last living sibling blamed him for killing their mother. Of course he holds resentment and hate, he's messed up in the head.

As I said in the video, I have a lot of thoughts about Sanemi but most of his development is still to come, and for the sake of the structure of this video, I couldn’t dive into it much. I love Sanemi as a character, the thumbnail is actually a joke from a previous video, however his action in this episode are still completely irredeemable imo.

@@lookingnerdy I don't think it's irredeemable, the author (Koyoharu Gotouge) literally makes a demon redeemable. Sanemi's hate makes sense and is justified because his past clearly messed him up in the head which changed the way he looks at Genya.

@@darksoulempire4477 I never said Sanemi himself is not redeemable, just his actions here. He as a character has to grow and learn just like a lot of others. But, I still will never say that what he did here was okay. Because it was not. Doesn't make him irredeemable, but I will never be able to write off the seriousness of what he does here even though I know he is messed up and confused.

If you had one brother that would go fighting demons which you know has no talent and will be killed in no time ,what would you do? Scare the F out of him to quit or be nice to him? What would you prefer? A blind brother or a dead brother?😂. I dont like how Sanemi was behaving either, but i also understand somehow.

@@Keli3440 oh no you’re good I didn’t think you were trying to pick on me! It’s hard to keep my mouth shut when it comes to Sanemi and I kinda forced myself to do that in this video as to not spoil people who don’t read the manga. Most of them don’t know his motives yet unless you pay SUPER close attention to it. So, I just kinda brushed over it in the video. His actions are totally wrong, but I understand why he is doing it.
