When you extend the disc, there are two notches between the legs. They match up with the nubs on the disc and lock the disc in the open position. That way it doesn’t collapse when you have it on a table.

There's a huge issue with this phone grip that everyone should be aware about. Once you buy one, you won't be able to use another grip without thinking of this one. It's light, magnetic, sturdy, thin. This grip is meta. I've had mine for 5 months and I just ordered more for my wife and my work phone. They sell them at Best Buy now too. I'm not getting paid for this but it sounds like it.

Great product we have them on three of four phones. My son's magsafe mount wasn't working the best with his iPhone 15 car charger always falling off. Once we put the oh snap on it hasn't fallen off once. He wasn't sure but loves it now. The two other phones are pixel 8 and it works great with them.

I've had two now and the adhesive fails after about 60 days. Also my 2nd one had a little deformity in the plastic extender "web" (not sure what to call it) so it won't close flat inside the ring. I have to use my fingernail to move the little piece so it aligns to close. I'm super disappointed because otherwise I would love it. The company has been great, and sent a refund.

I have a spigen ultra hybrid case and the MagSafe is very strong. I wonder if I can use the Luxe 4 without the adhesive. Maybe I’ll stop by Best Buy and check it out.

If you don’t like cases like me. Buy an arc case. That brand is amazing pricy but good customer service and quality. So combined with this Ohsnap case feels like a naked phone

MagSafe passthrough charging did not work for me with this. It would always start charging and then charging would stop after 20-30 seconds. I always had to remove the Snap Luxe to charge the phone. Also has to be removed for wireless mat charging as well.

Seeing that the grip is thinner than the camera bump, how is ur camera bump been holding up in terms of scratches? I have been rocking my phone naked with the grip but am really worried about sticking it to something metal and then permanently screwing up the camera lense.

Some screen protectors come with a protector for the camera area too. I’d look into that if you’re intent on bare backing your phone

@@jbkeebs Thanks for letting me know! Just an update, I bought the Arc Pulse case for the 15 pro max. Ik, a bit expensive, but it lets me feel my phone naked with the peace of mind that it's still protected well enough. I usually don't like lense protectors since they compromise photo quality, but I was legit considering this option lol.

Are you aware of any competitor products? I'm switching from android and have had the nite ize steelie magnet on the back of my phone and love it for the gym but I want to be able to use magsafe on my iPhone.... So far I've found this, a magbak case and a rokform case

Yes. Just run it under warm water, let it dry and you should be able to reuse it no problem.

Yes but not for a super long distance. I can run around 3 miles before it starts to bother me

Yes it can charge via MagSafe and I haven’t noticed any heating up.

Yes it gets hot on certified & non-certified MagSafe chargers. Took Wifes meat thermometer and when doing a hard charge, phone back is between 15 & 28 F above ambient. Hotter than w/o the Lux. My phone in a mous case. And some of my non-certified stands won’t charge phone with stand attached which is one of the things the mfg warns you in the official marketing videos.

I would say the thicker the back of the case, the further the charging coils are from the phone to the charger, the less efficient the charging and the more heat generated?

The nubs are a feature, not an inconvenience, they give you an immediate guide to where the kickstand spots are, otherwise you would have no idea where to pop it out for the kickstand without turning the whole over and looking.

My adhesive failed after a few months. They sent me new adhesive and it failed after a couple days. I followed instructions and let it cure for a little over 24 hours.

That’s a good idea. Mine has been stuck and restuck a bunch of times. I finally have a case on my phone and let me tell you. This adhesive is very much stuck on it.

@@AteTreeWon I'm not sure what's going on with mine then. They always ask if I'm using a case made out of silicone. The product description doesn't say that it is. I'm using a Spigen Tough Armor case. I'm hesitant to use crazy glue like someone else I read.

⁠@@Mike20878 Nothing sticks to silicone well… it’s a feature of silicone…. Not even fresh silicone. Ever caulk a bathroom tub in silicone? The removal of the old caulk must be perfect or it will fail… It’s the same thing for any other silicone product.
